Hi guys! I got an email from NVC that some of our documents were in the horizontal position and had to be resubmitted.... pity! I thought it was just the settings on my pdf viewer.
Anyway, any idea how long it takes them to look at the documents again? Took us 2 weeks to get them looked at now which is pretty fast, but wondering if we have to wait another 2 weeks (I hope not!).

also took 2 weeks and now we are waiting for cc after resubmitted. Almost a week passed. 😬

  2. You need to wait for the status of "administrative processing" (usually takes 2-3 days). But also you can try now, because I was able to make the appointment of my interview with the status "ready." You need to make an appointment in your personal account here https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/SiteLogin  And pay the consular fee here http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ru/ru-niv-paymentinfo.asp#options  Also do not forget to fill out the DS-160 form https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx

Thursday when I called the lady said AP was finished. But she couldn't give a definitive date it would be sent to the embassy. Called Friday and guess what, I was told I'm still in AP. I would love consistency and everyone to be on the same page

Are you still at NVC? For us, this is the beginning of the 7th week. No patience to wait any longer. :(

Hello all, I received my case number from the NVC last week. I called today in a whim to check on the status of the K1. I am the petitioner. When I called today I was told it's in administrative processing.

I am absolutely freaking out. Can anyone help me understand why, what I should do, how long this could take and has anyone else been in this situation?  My stomach is in knots and I am totally dejected. I am heartbroken thinking of telling my fiancée this news.

You are not alone, our case is stuck at NVC, too. Today it's 6 weeks :( ... I really hope that next week will be the last.

Where did you find those? Some times people stop updating.

I found it here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw== From the first part of this thread, I found how to determine a date when a case was created using the Julian calendar. I read all 204 pages of the first part and I saw a man who was stuck at NVC for 104 days and talked about it. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=76412

I'm sorry, there really isn't an answer to when.  We were stuck there for 53 days, so I understand how frustrating it can be. You won't be the only one, you are one of the few who have found this thread. Remember there are plenty of people who are not on Visa Journey too, so I would think there are others.

Get ready for the next steps. You can call NVC as often as you like to ask about your case.

In fact, we are ready to wait even 53 days but no more. Because I found cases from the 3rd, 23rd and 30th of January and it's still "at NVC" . Omg, this scares me.
