No, I didn't receive anything after my email that my expedite request was accepted.

I wonder if someone can help me. Our visa has been issued and I'm getting this message on travel docs india- I have already booked a ticket for the 6th but I'm wondering if I will actually get the passport on time. Our pick up place is in Chandigarh and embassy is in New Delhi. Is the embassy open on Saturdays? This is making me nervous!!! When we mailed in our passport they received it the next day but this msg has been showing since yesterday. Someone help!!!

Yeah that's how they are, interview was fine but we didn't have the right pcc, my husband had to get it fRom passport seva kendra but got it from the police station instead. We mailed in the right pcc on Tuesday and our visa was issued , just waiting on the passport to be delivered. Other than that everything was fine

Yes it was, if u wait on the embassy to book the interview then u Will be waiting for months. I made the appointment for biometrics and interview. They email a confirmation letter and that Works for the medical and biometrics. When u go get the medical done just take the ds 260 confirmation letter and tell them u had ur case expedited. you should be fine !

Our visa was issued!!!!! I was checking the ceac website every 10 mins to see if it was updated 😂 I'm so glad we will finally be together!

I emailed the tax paperwork, my employment letter, pay stubs. The civil documents were all originals.

Yes, you have to take in all original documents. He took every document that I sent to nvc, we are only supposed to send copies to nvc and originals to the embassy.

As long as ur taxes show a good annual salary in sure 1-3 months worth of pay stubs should be fine.

Yes I filled out all three- but only sent it original tax paperwork  and tax transcript for 2016

Yes, you only have to send one year. Some people send the previous three years but it is your decision.

Thank you!! Yes he took everything that you send to NVC- I sent 2016 taxes, pay stubs for 6 months, employment letter from my work. They didn't ask him any questions about it though.

So just wanted to kind of tell our experience. My file was at NVC when I requested expedite for medical reasons, I provided my doctors note and explained my situation in the email I sent to NVCExpedite. Within two days I received an answer- my request was approved. my file reached there within a week and I made an appointment for biometrics and interview. I did not wait for the embassy to reach out, I attempted to call them but they were no help!! My husband had to do his fingerprints on Friday and interview was Monday morning. Biometrics took about 15 minutes. On the day of the interview he was there around 7:30, there was a line already formed, they let them enter around 8:15Am. My husband said the total time of the actual interview was about 10 mins. It was a lady questioning him- she was pleasant. She asked my husband about who was calling him, questions about my employment, where did we meet, she looked at pictures. She asked how we communicate and my husband said via FaceTime, whatsapp, fb, telephone calls. She asked for proof but my husband said sorry I didn't bring it but if u let me bring my phone I can show you. She said no that is fine. At the end of the interview she told my husband that she is issuing a 221g for not having the right PCC. She told him everything else is fine, that he doesn't not have to return for another interview. Told him to get the pcc and drop it off with the passport at the dropboxes. My husband said the interview was really easy, just make sure you have the right PCC!!! We have mailed in the right pcc and passport yesterday and we should be hearing an answer soon

So you never have to go to the police station/commissioner office...it's already part if the process where passport officer sends clearance request to your concerned police station, your police station submit their clearance back to passport office based on their records/enquiries. Once clearance received, the passport office issues PCC. Please make sure you have 2 original copies and you give both to the Embassy. 

We have already received our pcc from the passport office, it's already on the way to the embassy but thank you

My husband was told to get the pcc from the commisioners office instead of the passport office. We had to get it from the passport office.

 Interview was good, my husband was out by 11:30 Am. We actually got a 221g for Not having the correct pcc. They told my husband that everything went good and he doesn't need to return, He just had to get the right pcc and mail it with his passport. We will be mailing our paperwork in tomm morning so hopefully within the next week or two we should get our visa

Hi! So i checked and mine is in transit as well!! Hopefully they get it soon. Have you done anything else yet like schedule an interview?? Our embassy let's us set up our own interview appointment if expedited. I set ours already in a couple of week,  hopefully everything goes as planned.

Hi, since I just read you were approved for expedite I was wondering if you could maybe help me out. My expedite request was approved on Friday as well but I'm just curious about when they will be mailing out my file to the embassy. Have they already mailed yours?
