You won't actually know until you get the NOA 2's in the mail. It will tell you if it's a combo card or not. It can very easily just be a work authorization without the AP on it. Mine was a combo card though and I only requested an expedite for my EAD.
OK, thank you very much.

I have news: at 82 days since applicaiton receipt, USCIS has granted a request to expedite my EAD based on a pending offer of employment. This expedite may only trim a few days from the 90-day processing time, but it means that I won't have to go back to this employer and delay starting work. Note: I applied for AP concurrently but the USCIS site doesn't show any changes in it, hopefully I will be getting a combo card.
Background: on Thursday I faxed them my offer letter and the printout of the e-mailed notice, with a brief cover letter containing the case info numbers, the selected expedite criteria, and listing the single item of evidence. The request was initially made on Monday-5 and I received e-mail notification on Tuesday-6, with the notification letter arriving in the mail today.
It's been almost 7 months since I was last employed, and I'm elated that this forced "staycation" will finally be coming to an end. Stay strong, everybody!
Hi there,
I expedited my EAD and today my status changed to " my card was mailed to me". My question, is the AP included on this card? I didn't mention the AP when I talked with them to expedite my EAD, but on my understanding, EAD is a combo card so, I don't know if expediting your EAD includes the AP as well. Any way my AP status has not changed.

I expedited only my EAD, got it approved and the AP was approved as well. I ended up getting the combo card relatively quick. Whilst it could've been just a lucky case of a fast approval, the EAD was approved soon after I sent in all my evidence so I'm thinking they just approved both.
Make sense. So I hope mine will be approved as well. Thanks

Hi there,
I expedite the process to get sooner my EAD. My question is, when you do it, is it AP expedited automatically?
So when they talk about combo card, it means two cards completely differents?

Thank you.
Still waiting for my letter to arrive in the mail. I'm talking about NOA1 not the biometrics letter.
When do people usually get their biometrics letter? How many weeks after they received the NOA1 hardcopy?
1 week roughly

LOL you mean Biometrics, not biographics.
I received my NOA emails and text messages on March 15th but not yet the letter for biometrics. I have to check the mail box.
Hahaha you're right ? biometrics! Ok that sounds very good, at least you have the Noa right now. Good luck

Apparently there's a backup lock at the lockbox facility in Chicago...
How is it going? Did you receive a Noa?.
Today I received the appointment for biographics.

I am in the same situation.
Came to the US in a K1 visa, filed for AOS on February 21st (husband was told that USCIS should receive the package by February 24th; unfortunately, we do not have a tracking number). Been waiting for my NOAs since then. Check hasn't been cashed either.
We wrote down the new amount of money that needs to be paid and I triple checked my paperwork before sending it with UPS. All of the documents expire either in June or December 2017 or December 2018.
My package was sent in February 16. They received February 17. All documents in the envelope were triple checked as well. It's the first time in all the process that I feel like this, I don't know if listening all the time in the media about the new president's immigration policy is what it makes me feel stressed out

Don't panic, We mailed my wife's AOS package Nov. 14, and the check was not cashed until Dec. 5. We got text and email notification the next day.
So you understand exactly how I am feeling. I review my email 1000 times a day. I know that I am in the process, but being in a kind situation that you don't know exactly wich is your status, make me feel so stressful and I can't avoid it

Patience .... Just wait you will hear something.
And both you and your K-2 are fine.
Thank you for your reply, but whats make me feel desperate is to see that many people here says that they receive NOA within average 10 days.

Hi there,
I sent my AOS package on 02/17/2017. I didn't receive any answer yet. And this situation is making me feel desperate. Currently ours K1 & K2 visas are expired and our status is in legal limbo. Any advice will be very helpful for us, I will appreciate!

I received today NOA2 from uscis approving EAD and AP at the same time in differents envelopes after 5 days since I called them to expedite my EAD.
It seems to me that if they expedite your EAD, they include your AP as well.
Thank you for your reply.
