Why isn't Nebraska service center transferring cases when other service centers are months ahead? My estimated adjudication date was September and now it was pushed back to December. They need to fix whatever is going on!

Nebraska Service center is STILL on December? They're really letting us down.. I don't know why they can't just transfer some of our cases to other service centers instead of being months behind, I'm slowly getting impatient here! Hope we hear some good news soon.

Does anyone know how accurate the processing estimates are? When I first filled out my timeline details, my estimated adjudication date at Nebraska Service Center was around September and now it's been pushed to November (PD March 20). I hope it doesn't take that long as other service centers are already on February. I hope we all get responses soon!

The wait is very long! And it's only been 4 months! Are you in the United States ?
I'm currently in Australia with my husband but I'll have to leave back to the US for school soon. Hope we get NOA2 soon so we won't have to be separated for long!

Hey everyone! Just found this thread.. Husband and I received NOA1 on March 20, 2017 and petition was forwarded to NSC. I'm seriously so jealous of people who had theirs forwarded to other service centers as this one is extremely slow My estimated wait time is 7 months while cases forwarded to TSC or CSC have a wait time of 2 months. What is going on at NSC!? Hope we won't have to wait much longer!

Cases first go to one of the USCIS (service centers). In a few months, it will then be forwarded to NVC. There is always a possibility that your case could be transferred from Nebraska to another service center before moving to NVC.
Make sure you fill in the dates on your VJ timeline. It will then calculate an ESTIMATED approval date.
Thank you so much, I thought I did something wrong! I filled in the dates on my timeline and my estimated approval date is sometime in October.

Hello, everyone!
I am so confused and freaking out over this! My husband and I are filing for i-130 from Australia and we sent our petition to the Chicago lockbox around March 15, 2017. We received a receipt notice on March 20, 2017 via email and April 5, 2017 via snail mail. It said that our case would be forwarded to the Nebraska Service Center, however, everyone is saying that the case is usually forwarded to NVC. I'm not sure if the case is going to be forwarded to the NVC later on or what exactly is going to happen... May someone please explain?

Hey, everyone!
It's my first time on here and I am very worried about my i-130 petition. I'm filing from Australia and sent it to Chicago lock box. According to USPS, it was received on Feb 18, 2017 and they marked it as received February 21, 2017. I didn't get a receipt at all.
I received it back today, March 7, 2017, and it says I had an error in my address. Thing is, on the i-130, I didn't include a country because it didn't fit and I added a supplement page. Was I supposed to make it obvious that there was a supplement page such as write "refer to" on the application?
Another thing that I noticed is I accidentally used my maiden name on the supplement page. Was this the problem?
Please help, this is really confusing me and stressing me out!
