One can hope! But for what it's worth, my husband's changed to "ready to schedule" in January, and we're still waiting. This stage can take a while!
OK thanks.

My wife's I-485 just changed from Received to Ready to schedule on June 7th. Hopefully, they'll schedule it soon.
Looking for advices from members who got their AOS status from Received to Ready to be scheduled for an interview. When your status changed, how long did it actually take until you receive the interview notice?
Thanks,
H.

We got 1 RFE. They wanted more info on my tax/income. I am a 10-99 filer so my taxes are all over the place. I did get notification back that they received it and within 3 month of that date they would make a decision. 3 months will be June 28th. No idea if that means a decision on EAD/AP/AOS or just our EAD/AP.
I filed an ombudsman query.
I got the tracking number for my EAD. It'll be delivered tomorrow. I wonder if I have to be present and signed for the delivery or will they just drop it in the mailbox.

I'm on W-2 so when I filed last nov, I only included 2016 and 2017 tax return. I wasn't sure if that was enough since I read somewhere on the forum that they require 3 years of Return

Congrats. We are nov 26th as well. Did you have any RFE’s?
No RFE. Did biometrics on Dec 27 and since then nothing. I just submit an online inquiry.

Woohoo I hardly can believe it after this long wait:
I-485 approved on 05/24 card is being produced
and I-765 approved on 05/25
and all this without even going to an interview.
Congrats, I filed on Nov 26th and just got my EAD approved today. Still waiting on AOS. When is a good time to submit a case inquiry for I-485 ? It's been 6 months and the case is still "Received".
Thanks.

Hi, I filed EAD for my Wife, K1 and Son K2 at the same time as the AOS. Today I got notification that the EAD card for my wife is ready to be produced. My son's EAD is still Received status. Do they approve EAD for both K1 and K2 at the same time ?
-
Hi All, we filed on Nov 27th last year but our case tracker on myuscis still says "Received" at what point can I call USCIS and ask for an update ?
-
Hi all, we filed for AOS last Nov and got NOA in DEC. We also completed Biometric in Jan but haven't heard anymore since then. If they have an appointment for interview would that also show on the online case tracker ? It still shows as Received.

I have a question, I applied for EAD and AOS for both my wife and son. Do they approve each EAD application independently ? or my wife has to get approved for EAD first before my son does ?
-
Both my wife and stepson filed for EAD. My wife application was rejected because of a filing error and we refiled it already. The question is since my wife and son applications NOA are 1 month apart....does my son application depend on my wife's application to be approved first ? or they will be adjudicated separately ? Thanks.
-
Since My wife and Kid have separate I-765 applications, will they be adjudicated independently ? Or my kid will have to wait for my wife to be approved first ?

Thanks ColoradoBeauty!!

Hi, My wife and son applied for both AOS and EAD. They both completed the biometric fingerprints for I-485 already. Last week i received another notice for I-765 Biometric Fingerprints for my wife only. Question is do K2, under 18, applicants have to go through Biometric too ?
-
We did file with separate checks and they're both cashed. It seems when filing I-765 along with I-486 the fee is waved for I-765.

Hi All,
I filed for my wife 2 weeks ago and my bank shows that the check for $1225 was cashed by USCIS 3 days ago. Yesterday, I received 2 letters in my mailbox, one says they received the I-765 application and are processing it. The other says it rejected the application because of incorrect fee sent. I'm not sure which one is right, has this happened to anyone here ?
Thanks,
hiepster.

Thanks All, I talked to my HR and they said we can use a dummy one at first. We landed on the 25th and still no record of I-94 found on the website....Did a CPB agent suppose to give my wife an I-94 when they process her ?
Never mind, I found it....had to enter her name as it appears on the passport.

My wife (K-1) got her SSN a few days after coming to USA. No need to wait - it won't just come to you. Go now and get your SSN. And then ask employer the question - we don't know the answer.
Thanks for the answer, how many days did you wait before you apply for SSN ? we're not coming until this Friday.

Thanks SusieQQQ

Hi All,
Is it possible t o add my wife and kid, after we get married, to my insurance while we wait for the SSN ? Some guide says we should wait 2 weeks after POE to apply for SSN but I want to get married the day after POE and put them on my insurance before we apply for SSN.

Hi All
,
During my DS-160 application, I did check the box to apply for SSN. I then read that it's not the way to do it.
I read in the forum that I should make an appointment with local SSA office and apply about 2 weeks after the arrival.
My question is, if I arrive on August 25th, should I make the appointment now for September 7th or 8th or wait until September 7th or 8th then make the appointment ?
Thanks.
