Sorry für das Kauderwelsch...mein Telefon hat die Wörter verdreht.
 
und ergänzend muss ich schreiben, dass ich mich beim Konsulat gemeldet hatte, weil traveldocs mir eine E-Mail geschrieben hat, dass ich einen interview Termin vereinbaren kann aber die Option war auf deren Seite nicht freigeschaltet. 
 

Bei mir war es erst möglich, einen Termin zu machen, nachdem ich die E-Mail vom Konsulat bekommen habe, dass es jetzt freigeschaufelt ist. Frage vielleicht mal beim Konsulat nach. Denn traveldocs und Konsulat ist nicht das gleiche. 
Mich hatte damals beim Konsulat nachgefragt, weil ich eine E-Mail von traveldocs erhalten habe, dass ich das Interview vereinbaren kann. Und dranhängen die mir geantwortet, dass ich erst auf deren E-Mail warten soll, weil der Termin sonst nicht gültig ist. 
Aber andererseits, wenn es freigeschaufelt war, wirds sicher seine Richtigkeit haben.

Kann das sein, dass die die Interviews OHNE Pack 3 freischalten, oder kann das echt sein, dass das gestern angekommen und sofort geprüft worden ist?

Ich bin auch mal gespannt, was die erfahrenen dazu sagen können.
 
ich muss mich in Köln morgen abmelden, bin dann obdach- und arbeitslos und wohne für 2 Wochen in Darmstadt bei meiner Schwester.
ich weiß nicht, ob es sich für die 2 Wochen lohnt, mich umzumelden.
Oder könnte ich Probleme bekommen bezüglich Nachweis meines Aufenthaltes vor der Einreise in die USA? 

Also zu mir haben sie auf der Stadt gesagt, ich kann mich eine Woche vor der Ausreise abmelden. 
Musst mal direkt nachfragen.. sieht man ja schon an den Hochzeitsmodalitäten dass da scheinbar jeder sein eigenes Süppchen kocht. 

Ja, ich frag mich eben, ob ich nach der Hochzeit den Pass auf den neuen Namen ändern muss/darf/kann, und DANN AOS filen, oder ob das wurscht is, und ich AOS auf den neuen Namen mit altem Pass auch machen kann und den dann irgendwann umschreiben. Oder ob ich den während des AOS Prozesses umschreiben kann. 

Da bin ich jetzt auf Erfahrungswerte gespannt!

Ich hatte eigentlich vor,  meinen Reisepass nach der Heirat auf den neuen Namen umzumelden, weil der alte dann ja nicht mehr stimmt, dachte ich.
 
Wie lange vorher meldet ihr euch denn in Deutschland ab? Ich muss nämlich für 2 Wochen zu meiner Schwester ziehen bis ich fliege und würde mich schonmal abmelden. Dann würde ich 2 Wochen im limbo Leben und mich dann erst wieder in USA anmelden oder hatte ich damit irgendwelche Nachteile?
 
eine weitere Frage wäre: habt ihr einen internationalen Führerschein? 
Kann ich in Kalifornien mit meinem normalen deutschen  Führerschein einen amerikanischen Führerschein anmelden?

Ich hatte das Interview gestern. Es war super easy. Ich hatte eine Frau und die hat die Fragen eigentlich nur so beiläufig gestellt, während sie meine Unterlagen überprüft hat. Alle waren dort mega nett. Und ich habe vorher so schlecht geschlafen.... das war völlig unnötig.😄

Bei dem Frankfurter Arzt haben die mir gesagt, dass die Ergebnisse 3-4 Tage später im consular sind. Die schicken die nicht täglich und das consular holt die ergebnisse nicht täglich ab sondern sammeln erstmal.
ob das so stimmt und die das dort bei dem Arzt wirklich so genau wissen, weiß ich natürlich nicht.

Die Bestätigung der Zahlung mit der langen Nummer steht dann auf der confirmation Site von dem Interview, was man ausdrucken  soll. 
 
Als ich die E-Mail dann bekommen habe, dass ich das Interview vereinbaren kann, was ja oft als packet 4 bezeichnet wird, waren noch Termine für 3-4 Tage später frei. Da waren noch einige Termine relativ zeitnah frei. Man muss nur mit der Uhrzeit flexibel sein.
Wenn du Ende August fliegen willst, dann ist das aus meiner Sicht realistisch. Wenn du früh genug zur medizinischen Untersuchung gehst und die dann zum Interview dort ist, dann bekommst du dein visa sofort und kannst dann 10 min später fliegen 😉

Ich werde mich die Tage mal erkundigen, wie das in Köln ist. Ich werde es dann auf jeden Fall Posten.

Bis packet 3 da war, hat bei mir 8 Tage gedauert. Dann nochmal 1 Woche, bis "packet 4" da war.

Ok, dann war ich falsch informiert. Ich checke das nochmal mit dem Wohnsitz.

when your case says ready- you have to complete and submit your ds 160 and then pay the visa fee. once you do this call and inform your us embassy in germany. 

I can understand that you are sad about you still waiting while many of us are progressing. I'm so sorry!
But your time WILL come soon, I'm very sure about that. Just try to stay positive even if its very hard.
My fingers are crossed and I send some positive energy!

UPDATE
I really don't like talking about myself but really hope this at sometime helps someone else. I am usually a very passive person. In this process, passive can work against you. 
 
Long story short, I had to delete my Fiances DS-160. Then redo correctly in which I was prompted to make payment. All went well. I already have a one way ticket purchased so i can attend the interview. All ready have 2 weeks schedule off work and her family has all ready started preparations for a special Family Reunion to say goodbye to us. 
 
I called the Embassy and spoke with a very nice woman in Immigrant Processing. They asked me to submit an email in detail explaining how I made the mistake. Maybe they need to change something in their process to avoid this problem with others. She said the appointments for the day we had are full. But, if I were to send my receipt for my United Airlines Tickets it would help to validate my story.  Anyway, they asked for 1-2 days to give their supervisor time to look over the details and see what they can do to assist me.

I MADE A BIG MISTAKE! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY SO MAYBE YOU DO NOT FOLLOW MY ERROR!
 
As soon as I saw "Ready" on CEAC, I completed my Fiance's DS-160 and then scheduled her interview. I had not received the Packet 3 from Ecuador yet.  In the beginning of the DS-160, you are given several options to choose from once you create the account. Such as, "I have received packet from Embassy and need to apply for NON-Immigrant Visa", "I have received packet from Embassy and need to apply for Immigrant Visa" or "Other". I chose "Other" since at that moment, I had not received the Packet yet. I had do my research ahead of time on the Packet 3. The Packet 3 on their website is not the same packet 3 they sent us. Imagine that. 
 
I completed the DS-160 ok and even scheduled the interview. But I was never prompted to pay. Once I received Packet 3, I learned there are 3 ways to pay. I could not figure out the first 2, because of my mistake they were no longer available to me. So I called the Customer Service number 3 times. The 3rd call I had someone to help me. By default, I completed her information through the NON-Immigrant process. For this portion of the process, DS-160 refers to K1 as Immigrant. They had to cancel the interview, let me correct my mistake online and then redo the interview. The interview date was no longer available. I have already purchased a planed ticket and we have scheduled activities based on the first interview date. 
 
I am suppose to call the Embassy back today after 2:00. I am hoping they can give me back the original interview date since it must still be available. I think maybe the system resets at sometime. 
 
As I write this, my Fiance is getting her Medical Exam completed and I haven't told her yet. I am hoping she doesn't get home until after I have an answer about rescheduling the interview. My mistake may cost us 5 days longer to be together and the money to correct my plane ticket. I know is not that huge. But she is counting on me to bring her home and I SCREWED this up!

I have a question about traveling to the USA. I want to travel with my visa waiver. 
Do you think that a return ticket would be proof enough that I will return to Germany after my vacation there?
I can't ask my employer for proof of employment because he can't know yet that I have a pending fiancé visa.
What do you think?
