Long not so long ago in the land of Vjshire lived the folks much mirthful and merry. Though there was a drought of Green card famine going around, the folks were still much light hearted because they had each other and they had their beloved Shell fairy. The Shell fairy was the kindest, fun and jolly fairy and she was made of sunflowers, magic found in messages -in-an-ocean bottle  and drifting dandelions.
 
One day the evil wizard came to the shire trying to sell his special blend of tea called the NegativiTEA but the shire folks politely declined. The enraged  Wizard roared  and stomped his feet and made quite the scene .Though the shire folks and the Shell fairy braved the storm, the wizard had left behind too much of his NegativiTea behind which in fact was quite stinky.
 
When the clouds rolled away, the shire folks saw that their beloved Shell fairy was gone. The shire folks felt as though the very winters has descended on their ever summer land. But Lo one day The Shell fairy was back. Her wings looked even magestic than before and she said" I could never stay too far too long from all my beloved Vjshire folks, I was gone to shine and polish my wings and make my own special brew of PostiviTEA and I am all energized and ready now" . 
 
It was a day of feasting and much celebration and would you know, the sun decided not to set that day and stayed on with the moon and the stars under the same sky in the  magical land of Vjshire to enjoy with the  Vjshire folks and their beloved Shell fairy.
 
We missed you but we are mighty glad you are back @shell20.

Hello everyone and good Monday to you all!  Sorry I had to go for a while, I just found it a tad overwhelming with things going on in my life. 
 
Thank you so much for all your emails. I will reply to each and every one, I didn't want to rush them, so I will find a quiet hour and look at them all and respond to all of you. I just don't want to rush a reply!  Any way whats going on??   Any approvals, any glitches?  Processing times are due to be released later this week and we are nearly half way through March, so much closer to that approval!  Happy GC week everyone!  Bring it on!!!

I'm at my local office on Tuesday for my N-400 biometrics appointment. I've managed to schedule a Mis-Infopass an hour later to try and get an I-551 stamp. My card expires in 10 weeks time and I've already mentaily prepared myself that they're going to tell me to go back nearer the time. Nothing more than I love than the 75 minute drive to see the USCIS though! LOL
I'll be asking what's the deal with this 'case transfer' while I'm there. Undoubtedly, the truth will be the opposite of whatever they say!

I have long given up on swaying to any info and at this point until its a definitive mail for Interview, shiny gween card or the horrible rfes I just stare into the vacant distance placidly. USCIS has trained me improved mental calmness through its turbulent status updates and all the confusions. I read the ocaccional approval of septembers, februarys or whatever else but until the snail mails happen, its back to staring into the distant void with a calm smile.😏

@Jack337 Hi there! i'm Max and i'm a chronic Mailbox Checker! "Hey Max".... Honestly this is a dark time for me. This mail box fiasco has brought me to my lowest low. See, we dont have a key to the mailbox, just the landlord (we trust them/ know them so it's cool and we live in a 2 family kinda thing) Anyyyyhooo, when i got home last night i peeped into the box (like i always do, 10 times a day) and i thought i saw something... A spark of hope hit me and so i reached into the narrow opening in the back of the box, but my hand was a teeny bit too chubby and if my hand cant get it  the hubby's won"t either so i made a plan B, use a spatula because we don't have a tongs :-(. ALL TIME LOW  (Also i'm oddly creative).... worst part is, wasn't a damn thing in the box but AIR. This forum keeps me Sane @shell20, i'd be even more nuts without you.

I am starting a therapy group called mail box checkers anonymus! Everyday we go to that damn pandoras box, expecting a monumental, life changing peace of paper! My journey to the box starts with excitment, optimism, sense of wonder, bad morning hair and wrinkled pajamas - today could be the day!! Followed with feeling of despair, pesimism, silent swearing, cursing the system and myself for going along with it. It usually ends with booze, bad decisions, trying to get my sense of self worth back. Mind you this happens with 100% accuracy every freaking day, it is like Groundhog day, just more depressing and with more sex haha! Damn u uscis!

Hey Everyone! Congrats to all those who have been approved, Good luck on your journeys :-). For all my fellow waiters let's take comfort in the fact that it's still early (first week of Feb)! Everyday i check the mail like a madwoman & the anxiety is at an all time high i know,  but all we can do is wait and keep each other updated! My current Tally has 53% of Feb VSC filers approved. that's something right? We got this ppl!
