Updating my status.
I am in the RED!Finally done! So thankful this journey is over.

Bank actually provided us a statement from them stating we've maintained and regularly equally used the joint account. It stated when it was opens and that the account was still on daily use.
They said it's commmon thing for them to provide for immigrant filings to reduce the amount of paper filed in.
Can I ask what bank gave you the letter? Do you know if I can go directly to their office and request a letter from them? Thanks..

Thank you PSG052813!! It still doesn't doesn't say an estimated case completion time for me. It does show me case history thought - such as when they received application and biometrics.

I have that problem too. I can't see the estimated completion time. I have been "researching" on that for the longest time..
I called USCIS about that, they forwarder to my their technical support. And tech support said that certain case numbers are not compatible with the "new" program, especially ones that start with NBC. Hope that helps.. -

I did my interview today. Person who I had was very thorough. Asked me every question in the application. Gave her everything in the paper. Tax returns, Passport, Green Card, Child's birth certificate, certificate of disposition, Letter from probation( arrest was in 2007) notarized letter from mother saying I support him, and Selective service letter. I passed the test, but I got put under review as she said I may need my Son's Social Security and to check my mothers file to make sure I filed everything correctly under her. She said it takes 2 months to get an answer to see if im approve or not.
I was happy that you got your interview pretty fast, as we applied at about the same time. But that sucks that it takes another 2 months to know the final decision. I hope it comes sooner for you.
Can I ask why they need to see your son's social security? - is he a minor? born in the US?
And what do you mean by filing correctly under your mother? -

That happened to me. It went from "case received", status didn't change even if i already had my biometrics letter and fingerprinting done, and directly to "in line for interview" about 1 week after. I'm thinking they don't bother letting you know that they received your prints, since it is quite obvious that they will receive it if you went to get them done.

@viajero We have different field offices and/or different place where we got the fingerprints taken, that may be the reason why. Hang tight, day isn't over! But I hope you get yours soon! Best of luck to all of us!

I was already an adult, so i didn't naturalize with my parents.

Green Card received in 1993 through family green card. Parents and siblings all naturalized except for me.1993 to 1999 - Very little trip abroad (maximum 1-2months out of the USA)1999 to present – Frequent trips outside of country.2012 – Married a US born American Citizen, who lived abroad since 1998, but is still a citizen- Husband is still a US citizen, has a valid NY ID card- Had a job abroad – 2010 to 2015, but did not apply for US income taxes. Very minimal income. ** Re-entry permit valid from 09/15/2014 to 09/14/2016 – but didn’t use, trip lasted 8 months, 4 days. And another trip 6 months 19 days.
Questions:
1. When can I apply for n-400 with a possible approval? I was hoping by August 2017, so I can delete the 12/13/2011 travel that lasted 7 months 26 days. And by then I would have 806 days (26-28 months) out of country and 1,016 days (about 33-34 months) in the country.
2. Can I go through the 3 year route being married to a US citizen?
3. Would the tax returns and bank accounts and my parents/siblings being in the US and are citizens be enough to prove ties to the US?
Reason for long trips - I was married to a US citizen who is now based abroad. We wanted to be together, I made sure to come back to the US before 1 year.
Any insight/advice will be appreciated. Thank you.
