20071126 Received NOA
-
NSC is quite fast among the rest of service centers.
However, I filed my N-400 on September of 2007 and got my NOA on Nov 20, 2007.
It might be some delay between two updates. When you check that website on Monday. The staff at NSC were already working application data entry of Oct. 2007. I believe whatever you see is correct as of now. The following is the snapshot of the web page.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As of November 23, 2007, USCIS has completed initial data entry andissued receipt notices for applications and petitions received on or before the dates indicated:California Service CenterForm Number Date ReceivedI-130 8/30/2007N-400 10/15/2007All Other Forms 11/08/2007Nebraska Service CenterForm Number Date ReceivedN-400 11/07/2007All Other Forms CurrentTexas Service CenterForm Number Date ReceivedN-400 7/29/2007All Other Forms CurrentVermont Service CenterForm Number Date ReceivedI-130 7/29/2007N-400 7/31/2007All Other Forms 11/15/2007xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I just wanted to point out processing time for Nebraska Service Center.
I checked last Monday and they were processing application received through 09.09.07. I check today and they are already processing applications received on 11.07.07.
Mine was received on 11.08.07 and checked was cashed about a week later. I should be hearing from them soon!!
Do you think this may be a typo on their part or are they really that ahead? Here is the link

Copy of Federal Tax
in US Embassy and Consulate Discussion

Kathy:
USCIS is not that inflexible. They want to see whether your marriage is de facto true or fake. So, they wish to see if you and your husband file the tax together. Even it is Canadian tax return, provide them a xerox copy instead of original copy.
I think you do not have to hurry to file 2007 tax return because your husband's annual income / W2 is not ready.
W2 is ready usually end of the year. If you insist, I suggest your husband file that with you together after Jan. 2008.
Just provide whatever you have on hand as detail as possible.
Wish you luck.
