Yeah I don't think we need more than that ...But here is the website: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Step_4_Collect_Financial_Documents.html

Here is what packet 4 says as far as financial evidence:

Affidavit of support (I-134) (for fiancé, employment and DV visas)

Evidence of support (I-864, Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year)

But with answering this question one arise to me...I thought we didn't need the form I-864 for our visa, but here it clearly states it...Do we need it or not?

It used to be that only the I-134 was required, but many embassies are beginning to ask for the I-864. I'd fill out both and provide the officer with the I-864 if they ask for it.

Hello my fellow Feb filers, :jest:

just wanted to push our thread up a little. :D

How`s everybody doing? What are you all up to? Anybody up to visit or something?

We are kinda in the process of gathering documents for our affidavit of support and I am getting my vaccinations done cause unfortunately I have lost my vaccination records. :(

I am planning to visit in June as both our bdays are in June but I will wait and see maybe, well hopefully we will have our NOA2 by then and if so I`d rather stay here and wait for consular interview.

    In patient love

    Silvia Marie

My fiancé and I have been taking turns visiting each other during this waiting time. No issues at the USA point of entry.

I'm expecting a NOA2 on the first or second week of May.

  3. Hello All,

Thank you to everyone who contributes here to Visajourey and especially the timelines. Being able to get an approximatation on the process and seeing the progress of others makes this all the more bearable. If you haven't contributed your dates already, please do!! It brings a sence of certancy as we all wait for K1's. I have been keeping a close eye on the the CSC queue. Looks like they have finally gotten through the burst of December filers. In the meanwhile, my fiance and I continue to deepen our relationship as we plan for our ceremony, wedding life, and work through the more difficult subjects of international marriage. We have also been fortunate enough to visit each other regularly. We even befriended other international couples IRL who have gone through this process as well. Cheers!
