My visa is IR1.i had interviewed on Jan 16 they ask for W2 tax form. I sent the form the same day the status shows AP. Then they sent email they sent email they receive it . On Jan 22 they updated the status. Then Jan 25 updates the status. On Jan 28  changed status from AP to issued.with note how and when to return the passport

It is correct after the interview in Beirut it shows administrative processing to everybody in their check status. if they do not return your passport your visa will be prepared to be issued. When they issue the visa the check status will be changed from AP to issued

you will receive an email within 3-4 weeks from NVC . NVC will give you case number you have to login & pay immigrant visa fee & your sponsor also pay his fee & provide them with financial responsibility forms . The applicant will need to provide birth certificate, police statement no convictions, marriage certificate, divorce certificate if you were married before & the same for spouse. Make sure copies are clear & no parts  missing example border lines & all copies in Arabic are posted straight like you are able to read them not crocked ( it happened to me) good luck

USCIS denied my wife petition. I appealed their decision & I won. They sent me NOA I797 & they forward my case to NVC for visa processing on August 28,2018. I appreciate if anyone will explain to me how long it takes to notify my wife in Lebanon, & what’s next. I have been waiting for long time for this. I filled on June 2016 & everything wrong had happened with my petition. Thanks

It sounds like you might have done this already, as your case status was updated recently ("they posted case handed to an officer for response"). From what I've seen on this forum, they typically give you a response within 30 days; however, it's often the case they will tell you to wait another 30 days afterwards (which totally sucks). I think contacting your senator at this point is a good course of action as well.

(July, 8,2016) is when Nebraska service center got my file by mail. & (August, 16, 2016) when they post it for processing. Yes I did file for inquiry for past normal processing time

Finally, April, 24,2017. checking my case status at USCIS web page, they posted case handed to an officer for response. I filled my petition on July, 8, 2016. My petition was I-129F  K3 for spouse, filled with I-130. anyone can tell me how long will take for processing. I sent my senator a letter for assistance will this help to speed it up. Thanks

I call & went today to USCIS field office in Orlando, Florida. went through security check like I am boarding an airplane. after waiting my number was called, I gave the officer my petition Number, surprisingly he call his supervisor the went through the pc screen. He came back to tell me he did not locate my file. He told me he will call me after her search for my file.

My question is? what happened is normal. I have my petition since august 16, 2016. WHAT IF They don't find my file am I going to start all over. My wife is pregnant in her ninth week will they expedite the file processing.

I tried to expedite my petition on 7/27/2016 as well as contacted my Senator for this matter. I talked over the phone & I choose the 1st & 2nd option on the expedite criteria 1- humanitarian . 2- fear for life safety. I was told that I will receive the decision letter in few  days. I did got an a fishy answer that I had a legitimate & a serious matter because my wife was pregnant & the several explosion that had happened in Tripoli. However, I did not provide any evidence to support my case. The case was  denied to expedite. My friend do not waste your time. sorry

I have filled for my wife I-130 along with K3 & sent NVC a check for visa fee. They sent me a letter that K3 canceled & returned the check. However, they notified me that the case being processed & waiting to be handed to an officer.
