  1. Not to burst everyone's bubble, I have not seen anyone on this entire forum who claims or can attest that "myProgress" estimates are accurate or even close! I think those estimates are too optimistic and BOGUS. For better estimates, you should check out : https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ and even those, I would take with a grain of salt.
  2. Once again, Thank you! Looks like in my case I can only see 3 tabs: Case Status, Case History, and Documents. Maybe after someone is assigned the he case and they open it, I may be able to see myProgress tab. BTW, I'm using Android phone and Chrome as a browser. It could be OS/Browser related.
  3. MamaBoyz said "My case update is indicating 2 months for a decision to be made", then shkabaan also said that he sees the same for his mom! May I ask where do you guys see these updates indicating 2 months for a decision to be made? Thanks!
  4. BTW, I just noticed that Mom's petition went to Vermont and Dad's to TX!!! On the petitions, I did mention that I'm filing for both parents (separately, of course). Do you guys think that once they start processing, they'll fwd both petitions to only one center so they can be processed by the same agent or will they be processed separately? The reason I'm asking is b/c on Dad's petition they ask for parents marriage certificate proof of divorce from previous marriages etc..., but NOT on my Mon's petition. They never asked for those docs!!! On a separate note, I see that even after submitting the petitions, there's an option to add more evidence. Do you guys recommend that I add the marriage certificate to my Mom's petition or just leave it as is? Thanks!
  5. Thank you. wrt emails you're getting that's usually a good sign (i think) b/c every time someone opens your file you get an email
  6. Filed online on 10/18. Receipt # starting with IOE, I guess it means it'll be processed "digitally", what ever that is?! In other words I'm not sure what center it landed in! Any idea guys? Thanks!
  7. Guys/Gals, Need some help clarifying Petitioner or Applicant... I'm at the last stage of the online i-130 application for my parents, where throughout the application, I'm the Petitioner and my parents are beneficiaries (which makes sense). On the last couple of pages, there's a section called "Applicant's statement", followed by "Applicant's certification" and Signature. My question is who is the Applicant? (i.e. who needs to sign the I-130 form?) Is it me who's filing this application/petition for my parents? OR is it my mom and dad respectively? Note that they're both are overseas and are not physically (i.e. in person) to sign this petition! Thanks! -Z
  8. Guys/Gals, Can we please revive this question with slight change? I'm applying for both my parents at the same time (using two separate online I-130 forms, of course), now as I'm filing out Mom's application I came across the question: Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien? The logical answer should be NO, since this this the 1st time I file for anyone. However, as I'm also filling out the application for my Dad at the same time, I'll be submitting one application at a time (say Mom's first then 5 or 10 min later I will file Dad's), so technically on my Dad's application I should answer YES. Please advise if that's correct or since this this 1st time I'm filing for both of them today( and never filed for anyone else), I should say NO on both applications? Thank you! P.S. I know I'm being to "picky" here, but I'm just trying to do the right thing... -Z Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien?
