Hi, dwheels spreadsheet says the end of the month.. but the latest dates are from 2016... I imagine it hasn't changed.. The NVC should have your date in the new few days.

Hi!
Does anyone know when the embassy in Madrid starts to confirm the interview dates? I'm afraid that I'm the only one in the spread sheet with this embassy (apart from a person who doesn't have a CC yet).
Thanks!

you can make another request at anytime stating you had made plans and was expecting a Cc in may but this checklist is messing things up and blah blah... Who knows you might be lucky. Joining the queue for another 11 weeks is depressing
Well, we'll see if we can get something from them by playing the sad puppy card

If you are lucky it gets reviewed early but the normal processing of the checklist response is up to 11 weeks. I am in my 8th week after I received a checklist on April 14 for my Feb 14 scan date. Second scan is April 24. You can request for an expedite processing if it's accepted voila!
Hi Nana&Akua,
We did request for an expedite before and the embassy in Madrid didn't accept it because the only reason that we could provide was that my partner is going back to university in September and we need time to plan everything if we want to move together. I guess that's not a good reason for them
.
We'll see if this could be solved before September.
I hope that you get a CC soon
.
Thanks!

Hi!
I received my first checklist on 19th May and my second SC is 26th May. It took them about 9 weeks to review my documents the first time.
How long do you think that they'll take to do this second review of just a few papers?
Thanks for your help!

This was almost exactly the same way my case was.
One said I should send documents and the other paragraph says I shouldn't.
I thought I had a CC but it wasn't.
I called NVC and the Rep told me then that she knows the email is confusing but that's the way it was programmed and I should follow both instructions.
Send the one nvc requests ASAP
Your interview date would only come when they've reviewed the documents you were asked to send..
And unfortunately that's another 11 weeks.
But mine took 8 weeks and 1 day.
I pray yours won't take as long as 11 weeks , but you need to act quickly.
For further asertation you can still call NVC and ask about it.
Hi Ayo,
Thank you for your help!
I'll call on Monday to clarify this matter.

Hello,
'
I received this email yesterday and I'm little confused because I do not know if my case is closed or not (maybe I have to send the info of 2016?). My scan date is 22nd March, FYI:
QuoteDear Sir/Madam:
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: (number case) filed by (name spouse) on behalf of (my name).
X1
We reviewed your I-864 Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents. We found that you didn't provide all the necessary supporting documents or you had incomplete information or you missed some questions on the Affidavit of Support form(s).
On the Affidavit of Support checklist, we have put an "X" by each item you need to correct. Go to the Department of State's website at http://nvc.state.gov/aos for English or http://nvc.state.gov/aos/espanol for Spanish and follow the instructions for the Affidavit of Support form(s). From there, you can fill out a new form, sign, and send the form(s) to the NVC. We require an Affidavit of Support form for each case regardless of your income level.
Your case is on hold until you send us the items we need. When you return the documents and completed Affidavit of Support form(s) to the NVC, please make sure that the documents are in the correct order, as stated in the I-864 Important Notice instructions.
For Affidavit of Support (FAQs), go to http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/support/i-864-frequently-asked-questions.html

We reviewed the Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents you submitted. While we will schedule your case for an interview, there is something incomplete or missing. This could affect the Consular Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.
On the Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to correct.
If your Affidavit of Support form needs correction:
Fill out a new form online.
Print, sign and send the form to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview. Do not send the updated form to NVC.
If there are supporting documents missing:
Send the missing documents to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview. Do not send the documents to NVC.
After NVC schedules the immigrant visa interview, we will send you an appointment letter with additional details. You do not need to contact NVC or send us additional financial information at this time.
You can access instructions for Affidavit of Support forms and read Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) online at nvc.state.gov/aos (English) or nvc.state.gov/aos/espanol (Spanish).
X1 is the name of my father-in-law (he's supporting us with an I-864) and X2 is the name of my spouse.
Does it make any sense that both paragraphs contradict each other?
Thank you so much!

I've got my visa approved today!!!
They let me in 40 min before the scheduled time for the interview. I got my number and waited less than 10 min to be called to the first window (certificates, affidavits of support and all that stuff). That first part was about 5 min or so.
After another 10 min, I got called to the interview window. The interviewer was really nice and asked the following questions:
- Who's the petitioner?
- Where did you meet each other?
- Where's your spouse living now?
- Are you planning to stay there?
And that's it!!!
I finished the whole thing when I was supposed to have the interview
