Previous filing of 129f for ex wife hopefully will not be a problem.
It depends how your previous application ended. Also, it helps to include a cover letter explaining what happened previously.
-
you need to assist to your second interview. Your Visa is not approved/denied, in order to know the result, you must assist to the second interview with the updated documents listed.
-
haha your name is very funny
.
Religion is only a red flag when it represent a deep cultural difference (That does not apply in this case).
But about filling the I-130 a week after the wedding I doubt you will be able, remember that you need to send the marriage certificate with the forms and the rest of the evidence in that first package. Usually it takes more than a week to get that marriage certificate.
-
would be easier to tell her to start getting it, either way she is going to need it, either for NVC, interview or when traveling to US.
take in count that most of the time this document is valid only for 6 months, but check the documents needed in the US. Embassy of Dominican Republic.

No. I have no friends or family here either. And an 8 yr old to take care of plus an infant in November. No one to help me, no support. My husband's going to be gone for 9 months, maybe longer.
what about you bringing any closer relative that could stay with you legally in the US. after your husband is gone?
No one can tell you what to do except some advices, but think about which option will be less chaotic, don't think only about the pregnancy time, but after is done.

Can he apply for a visitors visa, to come visit? what is the possibility of being granted one?
he could apply and get it, but nothing is granted, he must give enough evidence that shows ties to he's country and that he has intentions to not stay in the US with you.
However, even if he gets a visitor's visa, that doesn't mean is sure they will let him in in the US.
-
Personally I don't think it's ok, just by the fact that you are intentionality putting fake information. You are signing all the forms you send, so attesting to the U.S. government that the information you are giving is accurate.
You are able to correct this mistakes before the interview, but not sure if it's going to work if the document till has the typo. I would suggest to try to correct your marriage certificate if is not too difficult.
-
So you basically changed names to incorrect, instead of correcting your marriage certificate?
te last name of your father, than I guess you have too, won't match.
I've been always warned about correcting this kind of things since they matter, in fact, they made typos in my marriage certificate. I corrected them because otherwise I wouldn't be able to register it in my homecountry. I guess is even more important for a GC.

expedited for medical reason
visit this link: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria
some people call USCIS to expedite the process, but is better if you send the information. make sure to include a letter describing all the situation, be convincing. Also, include all the evidence of the medical condition you were describing.
I hope you can make it, good luck.

expedited under what circumstances?
-
I've seen cases of people they were over the poverty guidelines and in the last stage of the process, after going to the interview CO asked for a joint sponsor.
If you already have the option to get a co-esponsor I believe is a good Idea to use it.

Sorry, I meant to type K-3. We're getting married next month as soon as possible. I'll bring her and her child to Tijuana shortly after that. To stay in compliance with local ordinances, we'll return to Philippines around the 5 1/2 month mark, then re-apply for the Mexican tourist visa. I've played that game a few times with countries I've lived in previously.
11 minutes ago, FN&KO said:Seasoned members will tell you that the K3 is virtually non-existent. At a certain point it will be dropped and only the CR1 route will be taken. You can search VJ for more information on this topic.
As FN&KO said, people will recommend you to forget about the K-3 visa and go right straight for the CR-1.
We wanted to go for a K3 too when we started to look information, got some good advises in VisaJoourney about no point to try it, and my lawyer said almost the same.
A recommendation is to start with the VisaJoourney guides, and make sure to set up everything for starting the process before taking her to Mexico.

To play it safe, we'll plan on a 6 month stay for her, then return to Manila for the interview. I'm not sure how to time the Mexico trip for her though. I'm still a bit confused on which visa to apply for (K-1 vs. CR-1/IR-1). I'm not as young as I once was, so this is getting a bit confusing for me.
Idk anything about the K-1, so you better start reading about it to know the process and be able to make a decision.
CR-1/IR-1 is only if you want to get married before taking her with you to US, and is a process that could go between 12 months or more before she receives the green card. You already know it won't be a problem for her visa if she stays in Mexico for 6 months while you start the process, since is gonna be you feeling and sending all the forms as petitioner.
-
She won't get a denial for being living in a different country, but If your wife can't get a legal status while in Mexico, her interview will take place in Manila.
Take in count the fact that a K-1 is very different from CR-1/IR-1 visa, so just prepare all the forms and the evidence very well, also showing your intentions to establish in the US with her.

I don't use Facebook, but what I did with most of that kind of evidence was took screenshots of all the conversations I wanted.
Me and my husband only use telegram and WhatsApp, with both I took screenshots.
Once you have them, you can use paint or similar program to cut the area that you want to show and save it as PNG/JPG, then just print or you can organise them in word before.

letter of bona fide marriage?
Affidavits letter?
If you refer to them, No, is not a must, more like optional and not the best type of evidences of bona fide marriage.

According to travel.state:
Important: Police certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued. If at the time of your interview the following three items are all true, you must bring a new police certificate to your visa interview:
- You are more than 16 years old;
- The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
- You still live in the country that issued the certificate.
-
Lawyer and husband sent my application 2 days ago.
Extremely anxious since is just the start, but happy that finally we got everything done.
Good luck to everyone!
-
I believe you need a valid police certificate only for every place you live in for 6 months or more.
-
The best luck for both then

Let us know how was it
-
Sorry for that

if you are about to go to the interview, it means he already signed all the papers that you sent right?
If he planing to send a letter or something to USCIS/NVC to try to change it? If he doesn't, could you still go to the interview with the papers he already have to you?
-
Well, I hope in that way she get a good result.
I just read in the ACRO website:
How long is my Police Certificate valid for?
There is no set period of time for which the Police Certificate is considered to be valid. The Police Certificate is only truly accurate on the date of issue. Embassies, high commissions, consulates or other authorities will usually require you to produce a Police Certificate which has been issued less than six (6) months before your visa interview.
-
But make a phone call to the doctors, and make sure. I think is probably the best, so she will be sure about it.
She has 3 weeks before the interview. Pushed back a little but going to the interview with everything ready should be better, but I understand that you don't want to risk that. So make the phone calls to see if you get something before.
Also, no way you could expedite the police certificate?

US Embassy in Havana Closing?

As far as I know, the embassy of the U.S.
in Mexico is the only one now processing visas for Cuban citizens, except if you hold legal status in a different country. Otherwise Mexico is the only one allowed.
