Hi everyone! Just wanted to update that my mom had her interview last Monday and was approved. Her visa was issued today so just waiting to get  the passport in hand. Wishing for speedy processing for those still waiting!

Hi everyone- just got an interview date for July. Keeping my fingers crossed for speedy processing for those who are still waiting 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I called for a status update earlier tonight and was told my application has been reviewed and documentarily qualified, so now we're just waiting for an interview date.

Based on my last two calls to NVC, they're taking 11 weeks to review due to high volume. My scan date is March 8.

Congrats! Hoping for speedy processing for you! I just mailed the AOS and IV packages to NVC today.

The welcome letter states just copied be sent to them so I would say them emailing them to you would be alright for you to make the packet. Once the person has their interview, ther Will have to take the originals. or am I wrong in stating this? Someone else knows about this?

I had my mom scan and email her documents to me,  which I'll submit to NVC. I will be sending copies and the original of my documents (birth certificate,  naturalization certificate,  etc)  for her to take to the interview,  as they will require them at the embassy.

where you able to access ds260?  how long did the payment process take to change from "in process to paid"?

It went from in process on 02/16 in the morning  to paid on 02/17 when I checked after work,  so 24 hours. I completed the DS-260 later in the night on the 17th. 

IV fee status updated to "Paid". Hopefully I'll be able to access the DS-260 soon. Planning to complete it over the long weekend.

When I called NVC and got the case number and logged in,  I could complete the DS-261 but not pay the fees,  so I did that. But once I submitted it,  I got the welcome letter and invoice less than an hour later. 

I got the DS-261 confirmation on 02/11... So the day after I paid the AOS fee. I got the AOS cover page on 02/14 when the fee status changed to "paid".

I would say try to pay it if it allows you to. Can't hurt!

Update: Received IV fee invoice today.

You'll get a message saying it's been approved first. Once they send it to NVC you'll see this update.

Neither do I... And this is my third time around the block... But I'm always open to learning new information. 

Update: Received the welcome letter via email and paid the AOS fee. 

I was able to get my case and invoice numbers tonight and completed the DS-261. Waited about 30 minutes to get an agent. I'm hoping for some progress on the cases of those who haven't seen much yet. Sending good vibes your way!

We have the same timeline when they sent my papers to NVC. Try to call them. I called twice a week before and no luck and yesterday the lady that I talked to said they just updated my mom's application on there system. And she gave me the case #. Hang on  there some good news on the way for you

Thanks for the kind words! I actually called earlier today and they haven't assigned the case number as yet so I plan to call again on Friday.

Uscis says 01/27, however NVC says they received it last Friday,  02/03.

?????. I called but I don't have a case number assigned yet. They said I should have one by 02/17.

Congrats!  So happy everything is going well!  I'll be calling on Friday just to give enough waiting time. Keeping my fingers crossed ?

Mine was also routed to Texas and was approved in two months, so it may not take that long.

My mom's I-130 was approved on January 18, 2017!!! I received the notice yesterday, January 23, 2017. Priority Date was November 15, 2016 and it was routed to the Nebraska Service Center.

Congrulations. So, it is less than 3 mos and it got approved. My petition for my mother was routed to Texas Service Center as well. Hope will hear the approval soon.

I'm hoping you'll get your approval soon too! I was really shocked when I got the email because I wasn't expecting it to take such little time. 

My mom's I-130 was approved yesterday! The petition was accepted on 11/16/16 and routed to the Texas Service Center.
