No. Service centers have always fluctuated in the time they spend adjudicating petitions.
 
'Extreme vetting' - Whatever that means - Will not happen at USCIS service centers. The service center's job is not to question whether or not you're a good person. The service center's job is to find out whether or not you are an eligible relative to be sponsored by an I-130 petition. Bona fide relatives are eligible to apply for a visa, but no visa is applied for at a USCIS service center.
 
Visas are applied for at a consulate abroad. 'Extreme vetting' - Whatever that means - Will happen at consulates responsible for issuing visas.
 

Upon speaking to a Trump-supporting relative just now, the GC holders finding themselves barred from their own homes will be fine because "bad things happened to me in my life too and everything worked out".
 
I don't know that she's ever had the government suddenly make her homeless, but ok.

Oh god... It begins... Can they go back to Canada for the time being? I imagine the place they're being detained isn't exactly nice. The executive order is currently valid for 90 days, they can remain in Canada until then but how they would finance that I have no idea... This is outrageous though, these people have lives in the US... 

I don't see why it would have any affect as you're already a permanent resident  Seems like it's only going to affect people who are in the process of coming over on a visa, such as a K-1, from those selected countries. They'll have to wait until the 90 day ban ends before they can enter on their visas, or at least that's how I understood it. 

There has no been a SINGLE order that would deny entry to the US by LEGAL residents!!  My God!!
