Hi, I just received e-notifications (like 30 minutes ago) from USCIS that my packet was received and was given receipts numbers already.  I received 4 text msgs and 4 emails. So, I'm assuming it's for the forms 130/130a, 485/864/693, 765, and 131. According to the email I should get the official receipt (Form I-797) in the  mail within 7-10 days. Have you received the official receipt in the mail, because in the email they sent me it says; "We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status."  Good luck! :)

Hi! Got the mails yesterday and the numbers started working today.. so you really need to wait a while for the numbers to work. I guess i got too excited to check on mg status.. 😂

I see. I download mine earlier this month. If I'm not mistaken the updated form is the one with 06/30/2019 expiration on the upper right hand side of the form.

That's the form I used. I hope they didn't change it after I mailed my packet. That would be a bummer.

    Form I-485.pdf

I sent mine before they updated the forms to that date. Hopefully it wont be a problem coz we checked the date and still no updated version when i sent mine..

Thank you @lara u   well took a few tries of calling and she finally got a hold of someone.

she asked the results of her culture and after a short wait while the girl looked up her info she said everything is ok and to come back Monday at 8 am....hoping this means all is good

Maybe she'll be getting her vaccines and the hard copy of her results. Make sure she brings it home and brings it to the interview.

Thanks Ms. Lara. Today is my 4th day under non immigrant AP. And honestly, I'm getting more anxious and stress everytime I check the status and no update. I just hope I'll not get stuck in AP as other experienced. I called the embassy today but as usual the agent cannot tell further information about my status he only said that my case is under review by consular.  Praying hard that visa will issued soon.

It will be issued soon :) it actuallybdepends on the country. Some countries process faster.. it stays in non immigrant. So thats still normal

    Hello Guys,

January filers here. I'd like to ask does anyone who got AP here? I know that the majority experienced administrative processing as they say it's pretty normal. My question is how long does your status stay on AP before it changed to "Issued".

    Here's my timeline:

    July 26 - interview - approved

July 27 - status changed to application received and the date creation updated to July 27 later afternoon another update again from immigrant to non immigrant and administrative processing.

July 28 to 29 - still on non immigrant AP

Do they process visa during weekends?

I am kinda anxious rightnow coz I have read some horror story about administrative processing that they're stuck on AP for weeks, months or even year. My fiance will arrive in August 13 to collect me and he already booked a flight on August 19. I'm just really hoping that I'll get an update soon to "Issued". I opted to pick up my visa in 2go.

Can anyone here share their experience or shed a light?

CONGRATS to all who got approved.

    Thank you in advance. :)

It's normal! The status really changes to non immigrant and can stay in AP for a few days.

    Hei All iam february filers

this is may be stupid question , but can you please help?

    1. Instruction for I-134 Affidavit says "YOU MUST SIGN FORM I-134 IN YOUR FULL NAME"    Can you please tell me what does "SIGN IN YOUR FULL NAME" Means?  Do my fiance(as sponsor) just write his full name and don't put his cryptic signature? or sign and write his full name ?

    2. Should Form I-134 Notarized because USCIS said   " (Note: Signing Form I-134 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. law).  For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarize after you sign it. "

thankyou guys for helping me to answer it

    1. Not sure how we did ours but i think write name then sign. Dont make shortcut signature. It must be similar to all other documents..

    2. We did not have ours notarized.. you dont need to. But it is an offense to lie any info in this documents

What your experiencing is normal and does not require a call to the Embassy. The K-1 process is quite strange. For a time, it is both a non immigrant and immigrant visa type. That is why the links send you the process for immigrant which would be the I-864 even though it truly is a non immigrant visa requiring I-134. As you go through the stages, within the NVC system you look up your file under immigrant. It stays that way until after approval and ready for issue. At that point, it changes over to non-immigrant. It truly is a non immigrant visa with immigrant intent.

Thank you.. It got issued today. So hopefully i get my visa soon.. :)
