Can anyone pls add me to the list, thanks:)  I wanted to share my interview experience in the hopes that someone can learn a thing or two. Interview Experience: -appt was at noon and got there 20mins early -went through security measures (just like when i had the fingerprint appt) -handed my appt/interview letter to the receptionist and was told to wait for the IO to call my name -IO called my name on time and we headed to his office -he asked me to raise my right hand and had me swear to tell the truth -he started the interview by asking my full name, address,dob, phone #  -he had me read "when do we vote for president" and asked me to write in paper " we vote for president in november"  (english reading and writing test)  -then civics test followed, he asked 6 questions and I answered correctly, i can't remember the questions anymore (if you study/memorize the 100 civics questions you'll be fine)  -he browsed through the n400 application and asked the times I was out of the country, my job, and then asked about 7 of the yes-no questions -he had me sign a paper and said i passed and to wait for the letter which will have the oath taking information This is a short summary of my interview. My whole interview experience was very pleasant and perhaps I got lucky with a nice IO.He didn't ask for additional docs but I brought with me original docs( I sent copies only on my n400 packet) and additional docs like bank statements,mortgage,bills from january-april. Lol. Not to be selfish, but if you do get that gig, I'll hand over my case number.

Well, we will have story to tell our kids and grand kids that it wasn't easy to immigrate. For now i am not taking any more headache, eating ice cream and chilling

They say things happen when u expect them the least, it wasn't even in my wild imaginations that my status would change today, so I decided to just check it... lol , that saying is wrong, it didn't change still says that old familiar phrase, case is inline 🤓

Yeah, seems you are right... I'm probably too clean for them... and they can't get how come I live in the country for almost 8 years and never been arrested and so on... LOL... struggling to find something on me... and I've never even went to Canada since arrived to the US

even if you learn 10 questions per day after you get your letter, you will still have more than enough time to memorize all the answers by the interview date (assuming it takes a month between letter and interview date)

Put it under your pillow to wirelessly transfer that information into your brain.

Too early .. you will have forgotten everything by the time you get your letter with the date of the interview Until than I suggest  that you enjoy your life now
 

I guess i need to start studying the questions as well, thing is that when you don't have interview appointment, you dont want to start studying for it 😞

Late update interview experience at Louisville , KY . i was asked the following questions :
 
How many amendments does the Constitution have?
Name one branch or part of the government ?
We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?
If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President?
What happened at the Constitutional Convention?
What is one thing Benjamin Franklin is famous for?
 
In short i answered all of them right away . He also gave me a paper to read loud which was saying ( When is columbus day ?) He said i want you to write down that ( Columbus day is in October ) no additional document was requested . At the end of interview the officer handed me the paper N-652 says Congratulations your application has been recommended for approval . We hand shook and i left the office . 
 

I am also kind of prone to think that way. But recently, the earliest date I could get my dental appointment on was two months out.

After this week, I hope and pray, we can start realistically expect some news to begin coming in....

I have d interview  on May 23. Filed N400 on Jan 6. 
 

Apparently, Santa claus himself is too naughty here😜

One would think that Oklahoma would have faster processing time since it is not so populated like Washington D.C, NYC,Los Angles.....

If you are nice  and not  naughty, Santa Claus will reward you at Christmas with your American Passport 

Those are spectacular yet exceptional cases, it is not worth comparing your case to those fast-track cases, I don't know underlying reasons that make them to be processed so fast, but by now we already know we are not one of them.  

To me everything depends  on how the field office is busy.. I have checked a few of them :  
NYC   -  processing time as of date   May 19
LAX -                                                   JUL 11
BOS-                                                   JUN 28
Releigh    -                                           AUG 6 (!)
Louisville -                                            JUL  1
TPA -                                                     MAY 30
There is a big gap between them   So I am not expecting any interview letter from my TPA  office until  next mont..or even JUN ..

looks like the train has started rolling,that is great,  i do know though my city is the slowest dumb city in the whole world when it comes to field offices
