    We filed under the 5 year rule. We didn't take photos with us, they had a camera and took the picture. Not sure if the ceremony is admin or judicial.

    N-400 January 2017 Filers

    Hi All,

    My wife and I had our interview yesterday at the Philadelphia Field Office. It all went very smooth. Came in an hour early, they have a paid parking lot across the street from the office. We were called pretty close to our scheduled time. I was asked the test questions;

    What is an amendment?

    What is the supreme law of the land? ( I gave the answer for what is the rule of law on this and realized later)

    Who signs the bills into law?

    Who can veto a bill?

    What is your state capital?

    Who did the US fight in World War II?

    What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?

    My wife got asked pretty much the same questions. We were asked to read and write a sentence.

    Next went over the application and checked my ids.

    I had moved to a new home after filing the application, had taken a trip outside US and my greed card expired 3 months back. No issues with any of these, the application was updated with the changed address and trip details.

    The officer was very professional/business-like. Approved the application and asked me if Oct 2nd oath date worked for me. I agreed and got the oath letter after waiting another 20 mins.

    Please update my information, oath date Oct 2nd. Good luck to the people waiting for the interviews.
