That's before you get a visa/interview, and that's for things like having an interview beyond the expiration of your petition, the consulate would then extend the validity date for that.
 
Your K-1 Visa is good for one-time-use only, and you must POE by the 'Expiration Date' listed on the visa, which is exactly 6 months from the date you had your medical. Disregard any info at the bottom that's talking about the petition itself, it's irrelevant to you at this point. After POE, you will be issued an I-94, and your K-1 visa will then be cancelled, your I-94 is your new status and you must get married within 90 days of the I-94 issuance. As a Canadian, you won't receive it physically, you will need to look up your I-94 after you've landed in the U.S. and moved to your new home. Use this I-94, along with your cancelled K-1 visa to go to a Social Security office to get yourself an SSN as soon as possible, as they will only issue them to you within the first 75 days of landing, married or not. If you don't do this, you won't be able to get an SSN until you've been granted EAD or AOS, several months later, which can delay things such as getting a bank account, drivers license, etc. until then.

I can study and see him. Both activity i can do together  then why studend visa i cant get! What is problem! If i want to study too and see him too. Why u think student visa is not for that purpose do u know everyone who come to study in usa having only study  pirpose not any other purpose! Its personal life i want to study in usa   bcoz he is living there. I can focus my self in study if he is near to me. Otherwise my mind will always tell me why i didnt try to contact him.

I dont want to come usa. Yar understand plz i need only him. I dont want to come usa at all after u people what r telling me. I just need him. But he is not replying me. He engaged here. And make my family and me undertrust . I dont want to go usa. If he is talking to me or replying me. But he cutoff relation suddenly  so i cant be control nyself to see him. I cant do anything  i know usa will always doubt me but i dont care about immigration. I just need my love. He is my life. I want only him. Why u people are so judgemental!!!! U cant understand emotions!!!!! And  involved here with us  closely. I dont know about red or green flage. I just know my love is there he promised here and love me more than anyone and now he is changed!!! Why!!!!!!!

1st thing if u dont know truth dont assume plz. I know there are so many cases in which people use other for immigration. But this is not a case . I dont have any facination to come usa and i never used or will use anyone for my greed. I trust him more than myself. I told him to come here in india. I just need him i dot want to come usa for any greed of myself. Not everyone is same. Some innocent people judgedbcoz of some bad people. But it doesnt mean all r  bad. I didnt make relation to cone usa. I dont want to come usa for my own greed i just want to see him and ask why u did this to mee. What i did wrongm why he channged his mind!!!! 

Sorry that you have really bad experience in India. Its not about the country but the people as everywhere you find good and bad people. However, I think you should try to involve media (local news) here. They will get story and you will get freedom. In their presence Police also will work properly. I am German .. but this still leaves me feeling "lucky" that i am not born in one of the listed Countrys...  *sarcasticlyspoken*  It scares me to think of the possible consequences to this Order... i dont think that this the right thing to do :-(

I really wish I could help you and advise but unfortunately I know nothing about how it works with his case still pending and your situation. 
 
I would definitely consult with someone who is experienced in this or has dealt with the same situation previously.  I am unsure as to whether you could marry and file for a different visa. I don't know how he entered the country and whether he has his passport... I just have no idea I'm sorry.

I've lived overseas for over 13 years. I'm going to move back a month before expected interview time. It's hard to find info on it as no too many people in our similar situations on VJ. Some say not to be concerned then others get flagged for domicile so I'm just being extra conservative.
