  1. Hi everyone!  Are there any other January 2017 filers that are still waiting to get their NOA2?  Our NOA1 was January 3, 2017 and we STILL haven't heard anything!!  I even submitted an online request letting them know our case was outside normal processing times and their response was that our case is currently pending adjudication and that they had to perform additional reviews which have caused the longer processing time.  But we haven't received any RFE's!  Should we be worried?!?!?

Hi everyone, for those not approved yet, if you need a good laugh, just check USCIS processing times, especially the Texas ones

On May 31, they were processing petition from... guess when? May 31st !

    This BS is truly aggravating!

The silver lining though, is that one of the categories (spouse of PR) seems to be at early January.

If it's similar for the USC, that lines up with the recent approvals (and we should be very close dammit !!!!)

I feel like I need to push for open and public complain to the world, Miss Freaque did it a few days ago and it triggered the approval, so i'm going to do just like you girl ;-)

    Hey everyone!!

so are some people still waiting too for their NOA2?  Our receipt date is January 2, 2017 but we still haven't heard anything about our NOA2.  Our service center is Nebraska and I know their processing time says they're still working on petitions from November.

Is there anything i should be doing in the meantime?  I feel like calling and asking why ours is taking so long with no update. Or should we just keep waiting?

Hello, keep in mind that form G-1145 is not for when they receive it, but the moment they start processing the forms and accepts it.

It usually takes between 10-17 business days to receive a response from USCIS. I'd advice you to be patient. Once it's not over 30 days it will be considered as normal processing time and that is the only information you'll get from calling USCIS if your application is under 30 days..

Oh ok!  Sheeew!! That's good information to know!  Thanks for your help! :)

  4. Hi everyone!

I mailed my i-130 form on Friday, December 30, 2016 through USPS to the Chicago Lockbox location.  According to USPS's website, it says it arrived on Monday, January 2, 2017.  I included form G-1145, but I still haven't gotten any notification that my documents have been received.  Should I be worried?  If I should be concerned, what should I do next?  Contact the Chicago's Lockbox location?
