    1. No Passport

    2. $680

    3. Read instructions on I-751 for evidences and submit what you can.

    4. You don't have to wait to receive the paper from USCIS telling you when to submit I-751. You can submit 90 days before the "Residence Since Date" written on your GC....Remember, submit within the 90 days, not before...not even 1 day before.

    File below::

    Where to file

    U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

    USCIS
    P.O. Box 21200
    Phoenix, AZ 85036

    FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

    1) Passport photos are not required unless you are currently residing outside of the US.

    2) The fee is currently $680, including the biometrics fees, if it is just you applying with your spouse, but it might be more if you have dependents who are also applying. Check fees here: https://www.uscis.gov/feecalculator

    3) Depending on how you send in the application, there are two possible addresses. Both addresses can be found here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-751-direct-filing-addresses

    4) Send them as much evidence as you can to prove that your marriage is bonafide, from the date that you got married. Tax transcripts from each year, utility bills and letters in both of your names, joint account statements showing activity from both spouses, copies of lease/mortgage/house deed in both of your names, copies of driving licenses showing place of residence, etc. VisaJourney has a helpful list of things you might have available to send:

    5) I don't think it matters too much how many pictures you send as long as you have other evidence there to prove that your marriage is bonafide.

    6) Not everyone receives a letter to remind them to remove conditions on residency. I haven't received one yet, but I am eligible (and have) filed. Don't wait on this because you might never receive one. As long as you are within the 90 day window, you can apply. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-calculator-for-form-i-751-filing-jointly-with-your-spouse

I traveled to Mexico last month and came back through LAX. No screening or testing on arrival, no COVID questions. But they were making us use the self-service kiosks instead of the desks for immigration to minimize contact for the CBP officers and limit the number of passports they need to touch. TSA at PDX asked us to swipe our own passports through the machine to minimize the contact for the employees. Be prepared for the airports having a more “DIY” approach. Also, many of the food concessions were closed.

Thank you for the reply I am sorry I didn't understand the DIY thing what is this for stand sorry

    Thank you

Some airports used to have combined citizen / LPR lines and now have shunted LPRs to the alien line.  The general advice you’ve been getting is erroneous.

For a rapid Covid test try Cvs or labcorp.  For an COVID antibody test try labcorp.

Thank you for the reply you say that they shut down the LPR lines and changed into alien line so alien line and citizen line will be same because my spouse will be with me and we don't wanna go in different line since we coming back in same flight

Even if you are a GC holder coming back by yourself you use the same line as the uS Citizens.  If you are traveling with your spouse and your international passport and GCs do not have the same names, bring a copy of your marriage certificate with you.  When you get off the plane, all travelers will be directed to the CBP area, and there are usually folks at the start of the lines directing travelers to the proper lines.  Then you should see kiosks in the lines you will go to and when one is open, you go there and start the process by scanning your GC, if you are returning with your spouse, then you can do it as a family.  The kiosk will ask the Customs questions such as are you bringing back a lot of stuff or cash with you etc., take your fingerprints and take a picture, then it will print out a slip and you take that to a CBP officer.

Thank you so much its help alot

    Thank you

As a GC holder you will use the Citizens/US Resident line upon returning.  Many airports if not all of them now use kiosks for international returning travelers, it is very simple, you scan your GC and answer the questions and i believe submit finger or thumb prints.  As to suggestions for travel, you will need to research the best path for where you are going.

    Good Luck!

Thank you for your reply I am going to Pakistan and then Dubai and from there to coming back to usa is there anything else I need to take with me. if you coming back with us citizen and you are green card holder you can go in citizen line right and I am sorry I never hear about the kiosks can you please tell me where do I need to found in the airport

thank you so much for your help

Yes, NOA is going to be an extension for your current combo card, so your card will be good for another 180 days from the date of expiration. Then, as soon as they process and approve your application for EAD/AP renewal, they will send you a new combo card which will be valid for another year.

    I hope it helps.

Thank you so much it’s very helpful I really appreciate that

Yeah, there are like 20.000 of us in a similar situation. That's how much pending I-485 applications each of Dallas and Houston USCIS offices have, according to USCIS website. Texas offices are the most backlogged in the nation.

Currently, an EAD renewal takes over 6 months. NOA for your renewal package will extend your EAD 180 days from the date of expiration of your combo card. You can apply within 180 days before the expiration day.

Join this group on facebook for Texas AOS filers https://www.facebook.com/groups/1217794938343963/  you'll find more information about the situation in Texas in the group.

I am little confuse they only extend for 180 days and they going to send me noa between the six months or when they receive my case they going to send me noa so my combo get extend

    thank you for all help

    Hi everyone

I am really shocked to receive news my petition to renew my  EAD was rejected due to missing fees and outdated form. The form I understand I used mostly the one I sent long ago with my original AOS package. But it is to my understanding I do not have to pay a fee if my AOS is pending. Three days ago I received an e-mail that my interview was scheduled. But I haven't received anything in the mail.  My renewal  AP was approved and is now in processing and I didn't send any fees for it.

My questions are: is a c9 category still valid for renewal of EAD?  I sent the proof my AOS was pending. What else do they need to show I don't have to pay for it.

Would it be wise not to send it and wait for the AOS interview and just wait for the GC ?

    Please help!

I am sorry about your  application I am going to apply my EAD renew to I try to find the form on usics website and its say expire in 02/28/2018 which form you submit that is that form have same expire date to or do we need to use that form

    thank you
