Could someone please update for me 
Umadam I got an interview scheduled at may 25th for June 30th , can't remember the day I received the letter was like 3 days after they updated it online 
 
 
Today I had my inreview at Chicago office , got there at 9.30 am my appointment was at 10.30 but they didn't call me till 1200 , she noticed that I was carrying my newborn she said sorry for making you wait , I swore then she asked me for my passport and green card , I told her o lost my passport she said not a big deal , she took a photo of me and fingerprint then she asked me 6 questions , then she asked me to read : who elect the Congress , and asked me to write the people elect the Congress
She asked few questions from my application , name date of birth place of birth address , she asked me if I'm divorced I said I'm married and have an other child , she updated the info , took a copy of my baby's  birth certificate and my marriage license  , she asked the last few questions from the form about if i voted before , if ive been arrested before ....etc  she said I passed and will get a mail in 2 weeks 
It took like 5 min for everything it was so fast and kept apologizing for making me wait , I'm so glad she didn't ask about taxes or anything else 

Probably something is missing or they have some question, it will be in the letter what they need...
  hopefully it won't be a big deal, wait 3,4 days for letter to arrive

Thats why some times i like government, they dont decriminate who can work for them... a deaf immigration officer who would have thought that

I personally think, that if you have documents for the last 3 years that show you have been filing taxes, that is great.
Make sure you don't owe anything to IRS.
If your "family" claimed you as a dependent for the years that you had 0 income that would be great. Even if they did not, do not panic, you have not committed an immorality that can disqualify you from citizenship. If you were an unclaimed dependent to your family during those years, it more likely that IRS owes your family, not the other way around.
IRS does not care if you file a tax return or not if your earnings were 0 or below the set threshold.
Don't panic, everything should be fine. Good luck.

At this point, if I were in your situation I'd contact a U.S. Immigration Attorney for advice.
 
While there are situations that depending on your income level you aren't required to file taxes, you must remember that part of the application process for Citizenship is demonstrating "good moral character", and ultimately the Immigration Officer handling your interview will have the decision on your case.  "Good moral character" might be interpreted as an applicant filing taxes each year regardless of income - in order to demonstrate respect and attention to the process and system -- for example.  I wish you the best of luck!  I also would not volunteer this information to the interviewing officer unless you are asked.

Not at all and they filed by marriage and thry wear headscarves ( from Muslim countries ) it made me less worried with everything we hear lately about banning Muslim refugees

I am thinking now where are we stuck😿, it says inline for last two centuries.... anyone still stuck on fingerprints in January forum?

It is frustrating to see that October fillers like 70% of them havnt gotten interview letters yet...November only 2 people got it .... i feel like it will take foreeeeeever?

That means they have scheduled a date for fingerprints on feb 7... the date when you need to do fingerprints is not feb 7 , it would possibly be around feb 23 ( could be few days plus minus) so wait for letter you should be receiving a letter within a week that would have your appointment time and date for your fingerprints ... hope this helps

This is from USCIS web : 
$640, effective 12 a.m. Eastern U.S. time, December 23, 2016. (Add the $85 biometric fee for a total of $725, where applicable. See exceptions below.) You must make your check payable to Department of Homeland Security. Fees are accepted in the form of a money order, personal check, cashier's check, or credit card payment using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions.
Exceptions:
Applicants 75 years of age or older do not need to pay a biometric fee. They only need to pay the $640 filing fee. No fee is required for military applicants filing under section 328 or 329 of the INA.

Hi umadam,  I have just sent my check in the amount of $ 725 ( application fee - 640$ and biometrics fee - $85). USCIS change the fee just before Xmass , so most probably they want from you exactly $ 725.
