Honestly even though as the other member said it takes a long time, but I think you should start calling USCIS, or make an infopass if your status says anything about an interview letter was sent. 5 months waiting since biometrics is a loooong time.

Have y'all checked the case online? is it inQue for interview or has an interview been scheduled? If not I would call USCIS or make an InfoPath to see what's going on. However depending on your local office they might have mamy cases to work with.

From 6 months to a year. Mine took about 5 months (almost 3years ago)

Liesel reacted to vanhiscers87 in San Fernando Valley/Chatsworth, CA Timeline 2016 (Both NBC & IOE)
It seems to me that only some Los Angeles area filers in the March 2016 timeline cared to differentiate that their field office was the San Fernando Valley office in Chatsworth, CA. Among all other months' filers, people just say "Los Angeles, CA," while there are at least 3 of them just in Los Angeles County (let alone Orange and Ventura County). Given the population of the Valley, I simply can't believe they all mean the one in downtown.
Therefore, I'm starting a simpler timeline thread for people who live in the Valley. Then, we could all have a better idea of the field office's timeline.
