Jaanu2017 got a reaction from desaironak90 in Administrative Processing!!!!!
My wife had her interview for her CR-1 visa in US Embassy in New Delhi, India on December 22, 2016. She was told that her case is being put on AP. Since then we hear nothing from them nor even one update on her case on their website. I wrote a few times to them to inquire about her case and I even asked my two Congresspeople to inquire my wife's case on behalf of me, yet still there is no answer whatsoever except a typical one that her case is under review. Having said that, nobody would know how long AP could take...It could be a few days to years too...and no one can influence the AP too. However, this will not be the case in your situation because you were asked to submit some documents. So when review of your file and those documents would be completed, you will be issued a visa. In my wife's case no document were asked.

if denied you can take time to get in a better situation in your life and try again, you dont really need to prove anything to anyone on vj, alot of red flags to tackle which is probably why scrutiny will come for sure, i dont really think a lawyer could even help this scenario
