I totally agree that if its just a marriage gone wrong, just get a divorce(before he drain you of your bank account and dignity). In my case I collected tons and tons of evidence. My soon to be ex was also teaching family members and friends how to come here via the k1 visa, how to get your mate to put you out or divorce(trying to report abuse by their mate) writing down and recording every detail. He also taught many how to marry and join the military....then divorce. As he boast on VJ. THE QUICKEST WAY TO OBTAIN CITIZENSHIP. I was blessed to have friends who help me get in contact with the right people.. I have mailed all my evidence, including FB messages to other women, fake profiles with different names during our marriage and after our separation, membership to dating sites, and sworn statements from the women he was involved with. I have pictures and messages of him trying to hookup women to men from Ghana for a fee.. Also hidden money he is sending via friends to a private bank account(not paying taxes on this money) He is now back in Ghana(vacation after filing for divorce and getting his citizenship) Making plans to bring his child and her mother. If you think that you are a victim of a fraud marriage. You must have evidence, Just know that the decision is not up to you, but immigration and homeland security. Accept it and move on. That's okay, Just knowing that in the end karma is a B...... Some marriages are real, and I pray that the real ones will have a short journey to be with their loved ones. Take care

Kofi_Adjoa got a reaction from Joetan in 221G denial re-affirmed, what to bring to second interview
I will advise you send out a letter to USCIS in Lincoln NE addressed directly to Mark J. Hazuda (Director) seeking explanation on why your approved petition was returned back to USCIS.

At the same time I will advice you seek the help of both your congressman and senator to submit a congressional inquiry about your case on your behalf, you are guaranteed to receive a response from at least one request. I am afraid this is the only way you can get some insight about your case until the next interview.

NVC has all the information . . . why, where, and what happened about your case but they will claim it’s a legal document and cannot discuss with you but refer you to USCIS.
The Accra embassy is the worse; they will intentionally ignore you if you try asking questions about “why was my petition denied”

Do not forget they will not accept any new evidence since his last interview. All evidence must be dated prior to the interview.

What it means is, after the interview any documents you submit as evidence should be events that took place before the interview. This is even stated on the request for evidence form they give you at Accra embassy. The CO’s in Accra are very notorious for 221g AP; they have less time to review all the submitted evidence and usually make decisions without the facts.

In your case I don’t think you need to worry about new evidence, usually if the problem is establishing bona fide, they will give him a 2nd interview to present more evidence to establish the relationship.

You should absolutely bring new evidence to establish your case if you have them. But I will focus more on the interview questions your husband was asked at the 1st interview in Accra, which will be very crucial to figuring out what the initial denial was about. Because 221g after 1st interview is probably not from insufficient evidence, but who knows

Have either of you been married before?

Has he applied for a US visa before?

Has he changed his name recently?

And also he needs to be more detailed in his answers at the embassy, Ghanaian's tend to be very very vague and short in their response leaving out essential details the CO's are looking for. I am a Ghanaian so I know that first hand.

Example: What does your wife do for a living?

Answer 1: She is a Systems engineer at united technologies.

Answer 2: She works as a systems engineer at united technologies at the Florida facility. I think she actually got that job offer just before she graduated from Michigan State with her computer systems degree.

Answer 1 is good but answer 2 is much better. Elaborating more on a few questions helps avoid further questions and also makes it look like you know more personal things about your petitioner.

In the end he needs to be very confident and honest in all his response at the embassy. You can bring all the evidence/documents in the world but if the CO smells fear and dishonesty you are done.

Don't stress too much on this interview the Lord will do it for you. Have faith in the Lord

    NVC is a JOKE !!!!
USCIS is approving cases faster than NVC now.
I guess the worse thing to do is asking a government employee to do his job.
We don’t need to waiting this long for case complete, if you are only reviewing 5 documents (20 pages average)

I know how you feel, the worse part is when people keep asking you when is your wife coming over
