I had a friend who went to the interview on sept 27. His Co-sponsor was an American with a high income. He bought the affidavit but he also had his information. Needless, the consular told him not to screw with the law and that he knew it was bought. He told him to bring an affidavit from a relative or a person from his country. Not sure, but my friend told me they don't accept affidavits from American's cause they know it's bought.
Exactly
what’s your friend said its true
they knew about that
and need affidavits form from relative or person from his country

Congratulations. Prying that she gets her visa fast.
If you don't mind me asking.
When was her cc? How long does it take to get interview scheduled?
My case is complete but know interview yet.
The getting appointment depends on more things like a visa category
the immediately relatives get thier interviews within 90 day from case completed ,
and other type of visa performance depend on the number of limited visa and the date of priority,
immediatly relative like :
spouse ,parents , son&daughter of US citizen under 21 years
limited visa like :
F1 unmarried son&daughter more 21
F2 spouse and son of permanent
F3 married son/daughter of US citizen
F4 brother / sister of US citizen

Does anyone know anything about the embassy asking for proof of relationship between the co-sponsor and beneficiary?
Yes they ask more information about how the beneficiary knows the sponsor ,
cuz the Djibouti consular knows there is more ppl get the affidavit support by money so the need to know a clear info about that

Does the new travel restrictions apply to anyone petitioning for a spouse?
Today’s I heard more news that there is a lot of ppl got an interview in Djibouti to November
these are so good news
which means that the new restrictions don’t apply and no effect for the current papers work that’s at Nvc or that’s at USCIS

Today , the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti gave About 90 visas for ppl who interviewd in May And earlier June ,

Hello everyone, my husband had his interview this morning and alhamdulillah he was approved. However, they didn't take his passport and they let him keep it. They said to check on the CEAC site for when visa is issued and that it'll take a bit of time.
I thought they take the passport so they can put the visa on it? Is that normal for them not take the passport?
If they gave him approval notice they should take his passport ,
that is what is going on US embassy in Djibouti

I just left our congressman office and she told us some news that I wish was untrue. She told us since my sister's husband case is under AP, his case is affected by the travel ban and has to wait 120 days, I told her that it didn't count for a bonafide relationship to a relative and she said yes it does only if there is a medical health concern like a "death or need" that the bonafide relative is granted a visa.
Does anyone know anyone that receive a visa after June 29 when the travel ban went into effect.
Today the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti issued visas for most guys that interviewed on May

There is more Yemenis ppl like yours from October 2016 and no update in their cases
don't look for other cases which not for Yemenis
Just be patient ruby
everything will goes well
all what we have is to pray to Allah specially in this holy month
inshallah khair

They takes so long for Yemenis case
my friend his case ir1 , they received the case on October 2015 and they transferred the case to local office on March 2016 and the case still there to December 2016 when they request "request for evidence " and accept his reply on feb 2017 but today when we check online they said we update your name .
we don't know what is going on
-
They really make it harder to yemenis cases . The ppl who has appointment told us that the nvc request additional evidence to bring it to interview ,it concerns about proving that the relationship is still on between married ppl if they live away from each other more than 18 months . Evidence like ( ownership , money transfer ).
so I advice anyone who are waiting schedule an appointment in Djibouti to collect evidences between them) the money transfer notice is the trusted evidence to keep the relationship on
-
When the case is completed the nvc gives a notice about that and waiting an appointment within three months .
it maybe not get an appointment after 90 days finished it depends on the type of visa and the priority date should be current to getting an appointment
-
Hey ruby,
yes of course there are appointments these days in Djibouti . I know ppl has an appointment on January 25, the NVC gave them notice letter on December 15,
but the travel to Djibouti on sea is still closed so who has an appointment there he has to travel to any embassy of Djibouti in any country like Egypt or Sudan or etc... , this way cost more but it's the only way for yemenis

We filed i130 spouse and USCIS office received file in October 26,2015 then in November 9,2015 they said that the file transferred to another office and it has jurisdiction after that we waited till December 2,2015 they said that case received at my local office .
Also on March13,2016 we got the same notice that the case received at my local office .
So far , we did not get any update
They confused us .
Can any one get like what we got .
