The package came back a week after sending and no it just turned up in my mailbox from Usps.

My application was rejected for problems processing my credit card... do I just pop it back in a box with a new form of payment or do I re do the full package? Also can I send a check from my wife’s bank account for my petition because I don’t have a checkbook in my name? 

Shipped package to Lewisville, TX February 28th, arrived and sign for 10:25 am March 1st.... still haven’t received a text/email or charged credit card.

Got approve on the spot yesterday guys, field office is mount Laurel, PD is novermber 14 and I'm adjusting from J1 and overstayed a month... I'm at work now so I can't type the interview experience at the moment... but overall it was a nice chill young male officer and smooth interview.

Good jobs can take a while to get, so it won't hurt in you start looking. If you explains and the employer willing to wait then there you go and if not u just keep searching.

Things goes just as normal at the interview... when they ask when you are able to start or want to start u let them know about your situation and give them a estimated time. That's what I did at my interviews

So I have work Monday and my Ead went into production yesterday hence I won't get it until about end of next week... My congressman asked the USCIS if I can work while my status says card in production, they said yes I can work and it's down to my employer if they allow me to start without the physical card but as it regards to the USCIS I'm approved and can start... Just to inform if anyone else may be in this same boat and was unsure.

If you have family in another state, open a bank account in that state and then use that DMV and license until GC

when i contacted her monday i told i have a job offer and bills also to prove financial hardship... and she said i don't need to send her them unless they asked her to provide it but she said she doesn't think they will ask. Then today walla.

hey guys good news, i contacted my congressman office about expedite on Monday February 6, just now i checked the USCIS app and i notice it says new card being produce on February 8. i didn't get no text or email though. congressman intervention definitely helped because my pd is November 14th and i know i wouldn't get the ead anytime soon. 

My congressman immigration case worker, just notified me that she reached out to USCIS via email telling asking them to expedite on financial hardship and also about my pending job offer I have... so on this day 86 let's see if there is I can be lucky.

Day 84 today still no update, i contacted my congressman today will let you guys know if anything positive comes from it.

Probably the only reason USCIS allows AoS from tourist visas and such - is money. Plain and simple. They get $xxxxxxx every year from those tourist visa girlfriends or boyfriends who totally didn't mean to get married and adjust but oh! suddenly they decided to do it. We all know that at least half the people lie when ask about the intent.

 

Your post sounds like you want to tell people who did the right spouse or fiancee visas that they are plain stupid because they could go faster with tourist visa and aos.

 

I wish USCIS would get rid of AoS possibility for "tourists".

Sounds of someone with a grudge. Who said people going spousal or K1 route is suppose to be anymore privileged than someone doing AOS or either way around for that matter. At the end of the day we are all asking permission to live in someone else's country to be with your love one. People AOS without the prior intent majority of the times so just keep calm.
