I changed my address in the states and when I went to check on the app, it was like everything was erased including when I checked it online. I called, no help whatsoever. Moving on to the ombudsman because this is ridiculous. It'll be 30 days since my last inquiry next week. So that will put us 60 days behind processing

:( wow I realllllly hope that doesn't happen. I'm sorry it did to you. I'm at a loss for words.

  2. Ok I just have to vent and maybe this information will help some of you...

i just got my scheduled call back from a tier 2 ... I was calling yesterday to find out why I never received an update on my service request I was supposed to hear back on by September 11.

Anyway the lady kindly informed me that the reason I haven't heard anything and that my case is still processing (nov 21) was because I had my foreign address listed instead of my American one. Of course no one bothered to let me know this months ago and she made it sound like I would have already been approved if I had made this change. I never assumed this could have even been a problem as I received my initial noa1 at my Japanese address without issue. She informed me that I should have an approval within 15 days though I'll take that with a grain of salt. So if any of you have a foreign address listed I suggest calling to ask if that could be the hold up.

I'm so beyond fed up and frustrated with this entire process.

Not sure about calling but you can email and request an expedite after you receive approval from uscis. You need your NVC case number first and it's best to do it as soon as you have it because if approved you don't have to pay any fees until the time of interview. You would send your request to NVCExpedite@state.gov

They generally respond within five days with an answer. Be sure to upload any proof of your request for the expedite and send it with your email.

    Thank you!

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Pd 11/25.   And got this response from inquiry.  Some cases seem to be getting more review than others

Can you tell me how to file an inquiry on the USCIS website? I keep looking for where to do that and can't find it.
