Hi guys, it's me again. My parents were given a 10 year tourist visa and they were able to visit  US 2-3x  but now they expired this year. If they will apply for another visa, will they do it like they're applying for a new one? I really appreciate any input. Thanks.

There is no sponsorship for tourist visa. It is a misconception of many foreigners that sponsorship is required. The son will need to apply for a toursist visa on his own merits. The US is interested on the foreigners reasons to return to their home country (ties to home), not why they want to come to the US. Nobody can honestly tell you the chances of him getting a visa. It is all speculation. It is good that he is a medical student. Other things that seem to help is property ownership and good travel history to other countries.

He went to Hongkong last June with his aunt's and cousins and Canada but that was a long time ago. He does not have a property in the our country. So, I guess we will just let him try to apply and just wait for the result after.

Hi everyone, so my husband came here last year for a fiancee visa and he is now a green card holder and also has a job now. He has a 25 year old son who is a 3rd year medical student. If he will apply for a tourist visa, what do you think are his chances? Is there any documents that we can send him that will give him a chance to get approved for a visa? We want him to spend Christmas and New year this year with us. I will appreciate all the reply I can get.

My fiancé is finally coming this April, we'll get married on 3rd week May and will submit AOS and AED hopefully after a week or 2 after the wedding. Thinking of going to California, what travel docs does he needs other than his Philippine passport? Do we need to apply for a travel pass? I appreciate any help. Thanks☺

My fiancee just had his interview and he brought everything even receipts. You don't know what they're going to ask from you. So it won't hurt  to bring whatever you have in hand to prove your genuine relationship. Good luck on your interview:)

I just went home from Feb. 9-21 to attend some important matters and hoping to be with my fiancees interview (which is by the way on the day of my flight back to US  ) and I have no problem going out of the US and coming back.

Hi, its me again. So our case said its on AP yesterday but now it says  ready. Does that mean that they already received the NBI clearance we mailed last Thursday? So what follows after that? Sagot, i hope you dont get tired of answering my inquiries.

If they get the visa issued and delivered with adequate time, your FIL will need to beat feet and get to the USA before the EXPIRATION date of the visa.

Ok, he was able to get what he needed from NBI and was tracking it from 2go and it says it was delivered. We're just hoping that the immigration officer will reconsider the time we have left so he don't have to go for another medical. Thank you so much for your help. I hope you won't get tired of my inquiries .

Hi again VJ members. My fiancee finally got his medical result and his sputum culture was negative. Had his interview Feb. 21st , they get his passport and all papers he submitted but got a 221g because of name change. His middle name was missing a letter on his birth certificate so he fixed it. He  got  221g  because the consul needed from NBI his A.K.A. name that was on his birth certificate before it was corrected. I am very anxious right now because St. Lukes told him that he has to leave before May 1st and the consul is aware of that. If he gets what he needed from NBI, how long does it usually take for the consul to review and release his visa? Any VJ members who had this similar experience? Any answer is greatly appreciated.

Glad to be back on this forum. So, fiancé finally finished his medical at St. Lukes and had his immunization done on the 8th but they didn't give his medical result. They just give his immunization record and a CD. Don't they usually give the result to the applicant? They said they forwarded the result to USEM. Is that usually how it goes? I'm just anxious right now. Any answer will help. Thank you
