Another update today, it was a good news. My husband had his interview today and he got approved for AOS. The immigration officer in Charlotte, NC  who interviewed him was very nice.  His interview was at 1:45 pm. We got in at 1:19pm  he was called at 2:45pm. The interview lasted for 10 minutes. We we're asked about how the relationship started and just verified all the questions in the I-485 form. Then showed the IO supporting documents like pictures, joint account from the bank, medical insurance.  By the way, he received his EAD and AP September 23rd. So for those who are still waiting, just pray and be patient. Will update again when he is going for ROC. For those members who answered when I have inquiries, thank you so much. Hi everyone, just writing an update on my husbands case for AOS, EAD and AP. He had his biometrics done last July 3rd. So as of today, July 19th,  we received an update from USCIS thats says our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. 

Hello VJ members, hope everyones having a good day. How many days do we have to wait to apply for SSS number once our fiancee entered the US?

My fiancee had his interview last Tuesday but was given a 221g because of name change. He was told to go to NBI and had a another clearance with his AKA name on it. His middle name was missing a letter on his birth certificate so he fixed it. If he got that done, how long does it usually take for the consul to review and release his visa? He was told at St. Lukes that he has to leave before May 1st or his medical will expire and the consul is aware of that. Any VJ members had an experience on this matter? I am really anxious right now. I would appreciate any answer. Thank you.
