Same for everyone who receives physical visa package: the visa package will be opened/delivered at US port of entry (the first US airport where the visa holder lands).

What do you tell the airport employees? is there any issues when trying to board the plane to the US?

  2. Asking for someone else,

After the interview has any body flown from their town in Mexico to the US? If so what is the process? Do you take your packet and deliver it to agents in the Mexican Airport or until you land in the US?

  3. We had a good experience at the airports. In Dallas just showed his passport and boarding pass and asked no questions. when we got to El Paso while waiting for our ride we did see a border patrol car but thats it. on the way back at El Paso he showed his passport and boarding pass to the TSA lady and right next to her was a border patrol officer but he didn't ask anything either.

  4. If your case closes at the beginning of the month like the first week, you will get an appointment soon for the next month. anything after the first week it will be until the end of the current month or beginning of the next month.

    Case Closed 05/08

    Appointment assigned 05/11 for 06/19

  5. If they ask for anything, they will just probably ask for the tax returns of the previous year, in our case they didn't ask for any tax returns. I switched jobs a few months before interview and it didn't effect anything.

  6. There isn't much one can do. while they are in an appointment (Interview, Medicals, Bio metrics) but wait outside. But there is a mall with a movie theater, if your hotel has a pool, eat at the restaurants and get to talking to the other people there. We enjoyed meeting new people and hearing their stories, time passes quick when you are in a good conversation.

  7. My husband has his medical exam on a friday with Servicios Medicos de la Frontera. He has a DWI on his record, so we are mostly sure he will have to see a psychologist. But I read somewhere that they don't give you the exam results til the next day.  Has this happened to anyone, that they don't get their results the same day?  I'm worried that we won't get it that same day, and they are closed for the weekend. My husband's interview is on a Monday.

  8. Anybody flown from their U.S home state to El Paso, then use a taxi to cross border and go to place where you stayed. Experiences? Was it faster or did it take longer?

    Any June interview appointments?

  9. My husband had his interview on Dec 22 but was denied for a crime involving moral turpitude but he qualify for the I-601 standard waiver the officer that interview him told him it takes 4-6 months for a respond but we are going on 8 months our receipt date is Feb 25 2016. Our lawyer has send an inquiry and they told him that they are still processing the case and they are behind 2 months. So I'm hoping that this will be our month for an answer I want him home before our sons first birthday it's sad that he only saw him for 3 days after he was born and is our first!

If you don't mind me asking, what crime did he commit? My husband has something on his record but I don't know if it would qualify as moral turpitude.
