Asking for someone else,
After the interview has any body flown from their town in Mexico to the US? If so what is the process? Do you take your packet and deliver it to agents in the Mexican Airport or until you land in the US?

Has your husband already entered the US? I entered the U.S. on 06/23 and it took 23 days after entering for me to receive my Green Card, others experience longer wait times, so no one for sure can tell you exactly when he will receive his.
Yes he entered 06/26.

6/19 was interview. We haven't received anything regarding the welcome letter or green card. He did receive his ssn. on 7/08/17 I checked online and it stated CARD IS BEING PRODUCED. but now it won't show and update on the status of the card.

My husband was approved on 06/19 and the green card fee was paid 06/26, we still haven't received his card. Is this normal or should I call USCIS and ask about it?

We had a good experience at the airports. In Dallas just showed his passport and boarding pass and asked no questions. when we got to El Paso while waiting for our ride we did see a border patrol car but thats it. on the way back at El Paso he showed his passport and boarding pass to the TSA lady and right next to her was a border patrol officer but he didn't ask anything either.

If your case closes at the beginning of the month like the first week, you will get an appointment soon for the next month. anything after the first week it will be until the end of the current month or beginning of the next month.
Case Closed 05/08
Appointment assigned 05/11 for 06/19

If they ask for anything, they will just probably ask for the tax returns of the previous year, in our case they didn't ask for any tax returns. I switched jobs a few months before interview and it didn't effect anything.

My husband had a female dr at Servicios Medicos de la frontera. I don't know if there are multiple drs or just her.

There isn't much one can do. while they are in an appointment (Interview, Medicals, Bio metrics) but wait outside. But there is a mall with a movie theater, if your hotel has a pool, eat at the restaurants and get to talking to the other people there. We enjoyed meeting new people and hearing their stories, time passes quick when you are in a good conversation.

Thank you! We will be there as soon as they open for sure.

My husband has his medical exam on a friday with Servicios Medicos de la Frontera. He has a DWI on his record, so we are mostly sure he will have to see a psychologist. But I read somewhere that they don't give you the exam results til the next day. Has this happened to anyone, that they don't get their results the same day? I'm worried that we won't get it that same day, and they are closed for the weekend. My husband's interview is on a Monday.

Exactly!
I wanted to compare answers of those who were in the same situation and have been approved.
We are going to say the truth but we want to say enough, not say too much.

Of course he is going to say the truth. I was just asking for suggestions on the wording of his answer.

He was arrested but just had to pay a ticket for public intoxication. That was in 2011
Then in 2014 he was arrested for DWI and had to go to court and was sentenced 16 months on probations. he completed everthing and paid everything.
his I-601a was approved 02/2017. My question is how can he answer his question correctly when he is asked.

For those that were approved at their interview and had a DWI/DUI on record, What did you answer when asked problems with the police? Or does anybody have suggestions of what a good answer would be. There is also a ticket for public intoxication on record.

Thank you.
Does anybody have a similar situation. Just so I can kind of know and be prepared.

My husband had his interview on Dec 22 but was denied for a crime involving moral turpitude but he qualify for the I-601 standard waiver the officer that interview him told him it takes 4-6 months for a respond but we are going on 8 months our receipt date is Feb 25 2016. Our lawyer has send an inquiry and they told him that they are still processing the case and they are behind 2 months. So I'm hoping that this will be our month for an answer I want him home before our sons first birthday it's sad that he only saw him for 3 days after he was born and is our first!
If you don't mind me asking, what crime did he commit? My husband has something on his record but I don't know if it would qualify as moral turpitude.

What do you tell the airport employees? is there any issues when trying to board the plane to the US?
