Ingenuus got a reaction from Mill&bill in I-175 May 2019 Filers
Hi Sorry for the delay
Bring everything and anything that proves you are a couple and living together etc Bills, Bank Statements, Insurance policies etc
they would have liked to have original documents and ones that go back 6-12 months so that shows you have been and still are together.
they made a point of asking me for my tax return (i file seperately so didn't think it was of interest to them) but it would again show that i was "married" but filing on my own but it would my spouse name and ssn etc on it.
We also brought more recent photos and they kept some.
hope this helps and best wishes.

Got ya. That totally explains your interview being scheduled albeit I 751 interview is not as often as other types of benefits (i.e: I 485).
But at least you are one step ahead.
I start to notice that if there was no interview by USCIS (like your case), it will trigger in-person interview, which might help to get I 751 approved earlier than other cases. Like typical I 751 processing time is around 12-16 months for those who already have interview with USCIS, but it could be earlier when USCIS conducts in-person interview and believe that marriage is bona fide and approved for I 751
Best luck and let us know your updates when possible!

Just to update you. Had interview today and was approved.
Please ensure to have your documents ready (photocopies etc) and also make sure you have the photo as per requirements (they need to be 2inch x 2inch).
Best of luck to you all and thanks for the information on this forum!

Ingenuus got a reaction from AfSaFa in NVC Filers - May 2017
Hi Folks
Got through after 34 mins on hold ;-)
Case complete 5th May. One checklist item to be fixed but it will not affect the processing/scheduling of interview date and i should expect to receive email confirmation of the case complete within a week of the 5th.
Thanks for your help and @jbmg for your excellent cheat sheet!
