Well my interview is on july 10, and im planning to resign on my job by july 4. do you think it will affect my interview approval by the consul? since they said that "You should not make permanent financial commitments, such as selling your house, car or property, resigning from your job or making non-refundable flight or other travel arrangements until you have received your immigrant visa.".

I wanna know since i still need to render 30 days after i submit my resignation letter. they wont allow.me to resign immediately! Thanks for your answer guys!

You have to login here https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/. You can view your case there and the fees you need to pay. Also you have to fill up the DS260. After you have fill up and Pay all the fees you need to pay. You should prepare all the neccesary documents (Requirements/Checklist NVC send you)  and send it to them (NVC). After you send all the documents NVC will review it, usually takes. 11 weeks. mine  took NVC 10 weeks to complete.my case.

They are IR/CR-1  NVC will give them notice of the interview date.   (You are DCF, process is different for you)

Few questions that i have in my mind right now and might be yours too:

After you got your CC confirmation email. How many days you receive your interview schedule?

After you receive your interview schedule, What are the steps you did?

Medical Examination? How does it go?

By the way I got my CC on May 17 and Receive confirmation Email May 23 and as of today, have not receive interview scheduled yet. How about yours?

Hi we did not call NVC to confirm, either my husband coz were here in the Phil. We decided to wait until NVC email us the confirmation. Just calculate it with the one who is scan date is.march 1.and.got cc on may 8 and receive interview schedule.on may 12. So it takes 4 days. Hope ours too. But we keep monitoring our email from now on. we'll keep you guys updated. I will update the questionare soon as i receive the email. 

Hi guys! Seems like my case just completed since the AOS column dissappeared and "NVC" appear when i check visa case status. My scan date is March 10. How long do you think i receive the letter confirming my schedule of interview? Thaanksss.

The next update you will receive is when your case is completed.

Hi. my husband called the NVC to ask if.they received our package, and they said they received the package last March 10, 2017 and havent receive any mail confirming when our scan date is. I dont know if they calling my husband since He is here in the Phil until now. What do you think is the best thing how to know when our scan date is?

So upon checking on my case status,

Nebraska actually expedites the cases of people who are from Philippines.

Hey guys so my husband receive an email informing us that they approve our case. and upon checking at "my case status" it was approved.

Upon checking at other timelines they receive their NOA2 at 32 days. So start hoping you get yours too anytime soon.

@vantine2603,how did they approve ur case so quickly?may be it was a mistake,as u know Nebraska service center takes a long time to approve cases.My PD is 10/11,but my status says "CASE RECEIVED" can u explain please?may be it says case received and not approved .

Hi everyone. Just wanna share guys, so my PD is Oct 12 and Yesterday, Nov. 28, we got approved! Thank God! I know how hard it is to wait and guess what is really happening so hold on guys. I hope all of you get your approval any time soon. Godbless everyone

Hi goobies, thanks for the info. But, upon checking on January 2016 I-130 filers, they got the NOA2 after 3 mos. so hopefully we get ours too after 3 mos. I am hoping they speed up the process.
