I did my interview yesterday, it was very short. 

I think I over prepared but it never hurt to be. 

The officer said he saw no reason not to approve. This morning I got an update stating that new card is being produce.

It is over 100 days now and our case is still not approved yet...

My receive date is October 17 and I just got approved February 1st, 110 days. I did send a SR on day 90 but received a letter stating that the department is backlogged and my case will be delayed a little. So hang in there you will receive something soon.

I did call uscis a few days back and I was told that my field office is backlog by about 5 months.  So I'm guessing my interview will be somewhere between March and April hopefully.  But I'm very eager to get the EAD as I might be falling in a state of depression because of sitting home all day not able to work...  I really don't want to because I've been there a few years back as a result I'm still suffering from side effects ... . Hope everyone gets good news soon.

Same here setting not doing anything and hoping for the best. It is depressing, but I am holding on. It is ruff I don't like hanging around.

It was updated last night. It's saying " Field office processing date for Hialeah Fl as of: October 31,2016.

I485 processing case from June 18, 2016"

Can someone explain this to me pls.. (as of October 31,2016) is it that they haven't received update from that field office since October???

Hello Venice, 

I would want to believe it is saying that the field office in October processed June filers, which is not looking bad because time spand between June and October is actually four months. 

So if we could judge more and likely you may get to be interviewed within four months of your submission date. 

I am praying for the EAD in the interim. 

My field Office update is about the same too. 

I got a RFE in the mail last week, check my status and it made reference to the RFE. However I have not send in the RFE yet, but I check my stays just now and it have change to case ready to be schedule for interview. Any feedback as to why the sudden change and should I go ahead and still send what was requested.
