Remember, little one, that the mind can be clouded by storms from the past. Keep your heart and your eyes open. I pray that God brings you clear vision and honest answers. I am so sorry for your emotional suffering. Henia, I hope you find answers that will give you peace. Stay strong and know that many are holding you in their prayers.

The I-130 has been approved, and the I-129F is in the envelope. I added all kinds of info regarding red flags, including the age difference, but I hear even with all that, it can be a big concern for the consulate. So, before I mail it, I'd like to make sure I haev done all I can do.
Frankly, it's me, the USC, who's doing all the work since up til now the paper work is at this end. Any suggestions as to how I can prep my husband, who seems rather oblivious as to why age would be a problem. Anyone with such a gap who has been thru this, do you have any good advice re prepping for his interview?
We literally spent hours sitting and discussing our age difference in preparation. We looked at it from all angles and discussed our feelings and thoughts about it until he was so comfortable with the subject he had no trouble answering when asked about it. There was no "coaching" just letting him get in touch with his own opinions so that when he was drowning in his nerves he was able to give his opinion smoothly and with the confidence it deserved.
Great advise. The fact that he sees no problem with it will carry into his answers and so that is not an issue for you two. Thd CO didnt mention anything about it to my husband at his interview and I am 13 years older. Just load up on the evidence. They looked at everything with us.

Najia, Abderrazzak answered the french one in french but he also took one in english. The lady only wanted the french one. I am sure if he hadn't taken one in english she would have asked for it. lol

Hello Najia. This is what my husband wrote:
#26 How long do you intend to stay in USA? Forever with my wife.
#27 What is the purpose of your trip? To join my wife in America and spend our lives together.
#28 Who will pay for your trip? My self and my wife
#32 Do your intend to work in USA? Yes but I do not have a job yet. Do you intend to go to school? No
I hope this helps. Good luck Najia. I will be praying for your success.

The 134 was not sent with my husband's packet nor was it asked for at his interview. It was crossed off our information list from the embassy also. He did bring it with him just in cas though. With Casa you can't be too careful.

Interview on September 28th and visa on October 6th. Life is good.

My husband called me this morning to say the embassy called him today to pick up his visa. He will finish Ramadan with his family then come home to me by the end of this month. I am so happy. Thanks everyone for all the help and support.
