  1. I never had a problem with changing my travelers checks. Like Sarah says, the bank charges are ugly for atm use there. There are alot of exhange places there. Just check the rate and be careful. Alot of places dont take credit cards. Also, keep some small coins in your pocket. You have to pay to pee at most restraunts. lol

  2. Thanks, Noura. I know it is so difficult to be apart from the one you love. So many of you are still so young and will be starting families or adding to existing ones. I have read so many postings here and feel like the old neighbor lady. I see how much everyone longs for the life that they know will be their's soon and hope that everything progresses swiftly for each of you.

  3. I pray that Danelle can get the CR1 interview instead of the K3. She is further along in the process than we are. With God's help we will all be with our spouse's and fiance's very soon. The proccess is so stressful. You get your hopes up over each small advance and then realize that the next will be weeks or even months away. But I know it has made us stronger. This group of people on the ME/NA forum have helped alot, easing the stress and providing some laughs. Not always intentional. lol

  4. Congratulations that is great news I have been watching your progress.

Can I ask what you will do if your case is not complete by the time you have your K-3 interview? Will you husband return to Casa for the CR-1 interview or will you do AOS here? I am asking because I think that we will run in to a similar situation, we just got our K-3 approved, and our I-130 is almost half way done. I am just curious to get someone else thoughts who is in the exact same situation. Thanks.

We are in about the same place as you with the CR1 and plan on returning to Casa for the interview. Our K3 interview is 9/28.

  5. I wouldnt worry about being too formal.. :D I said in my letter that I understood the were busy and dealing with a lot of visa and i wasnt trying to be a pain in the rear!!! :innocent:

The response was so sweet to me and I was shocked cuz we have all read the horror stories about Casa. Let's pray that the interviews are as sweet and painless!! I know that you will be so happy when u receive your reasponse.
