  1. If you are removing conditions based on marriage, then your spouse is your sponsor. They have to file an I-865 every time both of you move.

thanks for the reply jsnearline, yes i will be fling for removing conditions based on marriage. so my husband is my sponsor?..actually i am confusing it with the fact that at the time of filing k3 and then AOS my husband didn't has job , so we took help form a family relative to sponsor financially. so could u plz confirm that my husband also needs to fill in !-865.

i would really appreciate ur help :)

  2. yes, you need to inform the USCIS of every move you make... since it is too late to inform them of your previous move I wouldn't worry about it... I would send off a change of address now though and include your new address on the lifting of conditions form...

you need to fill out the AR-11 which you can do online now...

AR-11 - Online Change of Adress

and you also need to fill out the I-865, this one is for your sponsor to fill out which I am assuming is your spouse... this one you have to fill in and mail...

I-865 - Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address

How Do I change My Address

Thank you very much MarilynP , My sponsor was a close family relative. so in this case, i guess i just need to fill the AR--11 form. am i right??

Could any body please answer my second question regarding SS card. I still have that SS card stating something like "able to work with work authorization"..Do i need to change that before i file for removing of conditions.

  3. Hi All,

Do we need to inform or do we need to change our address with USCIS if we move to a different place. I got my green card in SEP 2006 and ever since we have moved to two different places. Plus i am going to apply for the lifting of the conditions in june 2008 and this change of address thing came to my mind. since now i have moved to two different places what should i do now? should i give my most current address to USCIS? if yes, then how can i do that?

My second Q is that i have changed my SS Card after getting my green card. should i do it ASAP? am i too late for this?. its just that i have been a lazy bum :S

Thanks for nay help in advance.

  5. hi all,

I have read a post here about applying for the new ssn after getting green card as the old one says "only able to work with authorization from DHS" and it was also mentioned there that u should not give ur old ssn to the social security offfice. Is that what we are supposed to do? i mean i have got my green card a week ago and my ssn says the same thing. am i supposed to change my status with ssn. also should i retain the old ss card? kindly advice.

    will apperciate any help :)

What if i dont get SSN in the mean time. what would i do

  7. thx but do u have any idea if they ask about any proof or any recipt for medical examination i had overseas. anyone who has gone through the AOs interview could please tell me if they ask about any Q about medical examination. actually i didnt submit the I693a with AOS package so i am just going to take that to the interview...do i need another medical exam or they previous one is valid because one year for my medical is still nto completed.

  8. Hello everyone

i have a quick Q about I693 and vaccination supplement I693A. i have my medical examination done overseas and as we all knwo i dont need to for another medical examination. i have completed the vaccination supplement and my interview is coming up. My question is do they ask for any proof of ur medical examination u had in ur country during the interview or u can just say that u have already submitted the medical examination report and this is the I693A(vaccination supplement). since i didnt get anythign from the Doctor when i had mine medical examination and i just a gave the sealed envelop at the embassy and then again one sealed envelop at the POE that i believe was my medical report. Kindly correct me if i am wrong.

    Any halp will be appreciated

    :help:

  9. Hi,

It's been a while now since i ve been following the posts at VJ and it truly helped me. i am here on k3 visa and i applied for AOS in the mid of May and got biomatrics appointment on 2nd June. now i have recieved interview letter for September 6. so i have few questions to get myself ready for this.

My first question is about Affidavit of support, since my husband 's income is below the poverty line we used co-sponsor. Now are we supposed to take affidavit of support filled out by co-sponsor(or a copy of that) AGAIN with us to the interview. as we already submitted that with our AOS application and the it 's written on the interview letter that an affidavit of support unless we have submitted it before. so what do u guys suggest? do i need to take that again to the interview?

I havent got my ssn yet, another 4 weeks to get it because i applied ssn after getting EAD and they didnt had my name in the SAVE system. they are just waiting to varify my docs with the immigration. So in this short time i can just manage to get a joint back acoount( only if i get my ssn by the mid of August)

    hmmm any advice regarding this.

About vaccination , i didnt mailed it with AOS so i am gonna get it done before the interview.

I am going to have this interview at detriot. so r there any vjrs who had their interviews at detriot and would like to guide me and share their experiences.

    I would appreciate any help

    :)
