  1. First off congrats to all who already have a interview or have their EAD approved.

Next as i I seen a few posts talking about RFE and RFIE in regards to the whole reset to day 0 if you have an RFIE. If the RFIE is for the AOS (I485) and the EAD (I765) were filed together does that reset the EAD to 0 as well. I don't think it does but just wanted to check as that should be approved soon! (I'm about 2 weeks out from the 90 days if there is no reset for EAD)

  2. Has anyone got an EAD approval yet? looking on the section for average wait times looks to be about 30 days ish from biometrics appointment. (varies on if you filed via mail or efiled) 42 if you e-file or 29 if by mail. (weird I know you would think it would be the opposite!) Here is the link for those that are curious! http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadstats.php

On another note! I really wish they had something like we had with Igors List like we did with the K1s for theses AOS EAD AP would really be nice!! Does anyone know if there is? I seem to rememeber a place whecasre it populated a list according to your case number and it would populate a list of so many (that you specified) and you could see statuses of cases near yours.

  3. 2 Checks were finally cashed yesterday!! Hopefully we get the text/email by Tuesday, and the NOA1 by the following week! At least it's progress!! Biometrics if all goes well should be by the end of this month or beginning of May from how it looks like things are going on here!!!

We're all getting there keep faith everyone!! Soon the chaos of at least this part will be over soon!!

  4. Sad right now! My fiancé was supposed to have been here yesterday! Had his plane tix bought. Had his interview last monday was told he should get his passport back with the visa in 2-3 day as well as the "yellow envelope". Well the passport never came! We called the embassy on Friday, they said that they were having technical difficulties that prevented them from printing, and to check back in on Monday, called today and we were told that there was a computer glitch and the embassy needed to resubmit his information. The embassy said they will call us tomorrow with more information, hoping for good news!

Holding on to hope he will beable to make it by Christmas!!!

  5. Packet arrived from the NVC to Embassy and also got the Packet 3 in email!!! No interview date yet!! Next couple of days will be ready to submit! Crossing fingers my some off chance I get him in the states for Thanksgiving!!!!

SoulStriker any luck yet from NVC for you?

    Yiur on top

Of calling so no need to tell you to keep calling!! Maybe later today!! Fingers crossed for you! Your so helpfull to everyone your turn is over due!!

  7. Called NVC yesterday still nothing! But at least this time I was told to call back Friday or Monday VS the 6 week talk. So fingers crossed!!!

To those of you still waiting for a NOLA2 and are upset about us talking about the NVC statuses. I am very sorry your cases are taking so long and I wish you were with us in the NVC stage. But we are still going to talk of how we feel the stage is taking long as the benefit of this forum is to SUPPORT each other and we do so by keeping each other updated with our cases in any of the stage. The forum is for any August 2016 I-129f filer and does not stop once the NOLA2 is received.

But once again I am truly sorry you have not heard anything about your NOLA2 yet and I hope you do very soon. Please keep us updated as you progress and we are all still here to listen to you vent about the NOLA2 taking so long which we all agree is taking a lot longer.

Any stage in this process can be stressful to one person and not to another. But this is a forum that is almost list a support group and we are hear for each other no matter the stage they are in!

  8. Sorry to hear about the slow progress.

There are so many stages of this process that will ultimately take years. Its definitely a marathon and not a sprint.

I know my fiance and I are most concerned about the transition from K1 visa to temporary green card so he can work in the country but realize even that is out of our hands when the time comes (so saving and planning ahead for now).

Hope you get your approval quick and you make up the progress in other stages I am sure!

From what i was told by a lawyer, you guys can apply for a work permit when you file for the green card.

  9. Ok guys the wait is killing me from between then USCIS and the NVC was board today and was trying to find a link that I thought was on this forum but I cant find it!! It directed you to something that builds a projected timeline with date ranges. ie you type in the info you already have such as NOLA 1, RFE and NOLA2 I used it with the rfe but now I cant find it can someone help please!! (and yes i have already went through and tried to find it some where here)

  10. So just got off the phone with USCIS. They have not sent my packet off yet! :( It will be two weeks on Wednesday. Bit suspicious as to what I was told over the phone as one of the first questions the guy asked has it been more than 7 days since approval then when to one of those "OH!!......ok let me check on that" hear typing in the background then the can I put you on hold for a minute. Came back on then asked again if he could keep me on hold. Finally came back on and said "It takes up to 4 weeks for the packet to be sent out so check back on November 12th. (Exactly one month from the NOLA2). To me it sounds as if they should have already sent it and had an opps and they are now fixing it, and gave me that date to cover their butts! So end of week I will call the NVC and see if they have received it yet!

If anybody else would like to see if the USCIS has sent it off to the NVC yet the number is 1(800)375-5283.

Anybody with a NOLA2 around October 12th have their NVC number yet?

  11. Just got off the phone with NVC. No case number yet. The guy tried to tell me I have to wait 6 weeks for the USCIS to forward it on to NVC. Then 2 more weeks for them to process and get a case number!

Yeah sorry im not waiting 2 more months before I call again!! It's been 1 week since NOLA2 i will call next week at the two week mark and every other day after that! As i know that time table is bull !!! But he did say it will go straight through to embassy.

He also kept trying to tell me my uscis # had 1 too many digits. I kept saying sorry thats what i have!!!
