Hi all,

it's been a while since I last posted. I submitted my documents last September and my interview is in two weeks. Most of the documents are in order, my husband and I used a joint sponsor and and we already submitted all that info. I was wondering if we would still need to bring updated copies of the sponsor's pay slips as well?

I need info to help a family member. Usc spouse is jailed and interview notice should come in two months! What are her options? Show up with proof? Reschedule?

Traffic offences, driving on a suspended lisence...something dumb. Prob is he has probation from a previous thing he did 15 years ago.

Thanks. well our medical was over a year to date and shots was not marked complete, same as all K visas. I have read some had issues and they need to do vaccine report thru i693. It was not even mentioned during the interview.

I took the EAD and passport plus marriage license for name change (your husband won't need that).

I got the EAD in the mail today then applied for my SSN. Application took 10 mins. Jobs will b hunted and stalked this week. LoL

I am hoping that is what is happening on our end, that they are just not updating the status online.

Seems silly to approve AP, go over EAD and change the birth date, and then toss it back in the pile to get to another week but who knows I guess.

I think you're right, the only change I had was that my name eas updated on EAD on 10/27 and it junped to this.

I wouldn't worry too much, you can call them for peace of mind.

At no point in time did my case status say approved etc.

I checked today and it said my EAD card has been mailed.

So excited!!!

For some reason I am dreading that the actual interview will be in 8 months to a year. I would love to have my GC by summer because hubby and I are ready to jetset.

I am currently looking for jobs too. I see a few but I am looking for a certain amount of money, enough to be able to pay my tuition and still be able to buy a dress on a whim. The rent in these parts though...lol

So I just checked my case and saw that it was updated today. I almost screamed out but when I opened the file it just said my name was updated for EAD lol. Ugh. No worries, the apporval is coming soon.

That's great news. We are starting to see profress with the EADs...

My husband will renew his DL on Tuesday, I will tell him to ask. I was hoping we don't have to go through with the actual driving test.
