Yes our call letter arrived after my fiancé went to the embassy to pick up his package

Thank you for all the responses; the call in letter was finally received. It took about a month to finally get here from when it was dated and interview is in a couple of weeks. wish us luck !

There is no call in letter as of now, but one thing I did is I contacted my Senator's office yesterday, talked to them about not getting any email reply from embassy. The lady I spoke with said she will contact the consulate on my behalf. Just some minutes ago I checked the status and BAMMM, case updated again on 29-SEPTEMBER. So am hoping she gets the call in letter soon.

I am in the same situation now. You have to look for a call in letter from Ghana in the mail. Then scan the letter for him/her to take to the embassy on a Wednesday to pick up both package 3 and 4. Package 4 has the interview date while 3 has list of things to be done and what to bring to the interview.

- The Ghana embassy will mail a letter to the petitioner's home.

- The petitioner can then scan the letter and email it to the beneficiary, who will need to print it off and take it to the embassy on

- The beneficiary will then need to return at a specific time that afternoon to pick up packets 3 & 4.

- Packet 3 will give you instructions for where to get your medical and what to bring to the interview.

- Packet 4 will have your interview date.

I believe it took about 6-8 weeks for us to get the letter when we applied for a K1. I know it's tough, but give them another week or two. Ghana is incredibly busy and likely won't send the letter until they has a spot to schedule your interview. Plus you have to figure mail will take a little time to arrive from Ghana.
