We applied in august, and got RFE on initial documents also interview was rescheduled from january to april. our case went fast

i just got another text and case status now changed to case was approved today

Would be so happy if not had to file for a waiver, even though its ready.Will see hopefully they send the card soon :)))))))

Can this be an error?

AOS from visitor based on marriage.Interview went good just simple questions. Did have a conviction  5 years ago for a misdemeanor, I gave all the paperwork to the IO. He said he has everything he needs and we left and gave a paper stating our case is pending further review. Was expecting to file for i601, but later that day i received email new card sent for production?

What does this mean?

Do we need to bring the petitioners birth certificate? We do not have her original birth certificate. We have however a photocopy of it and her US passport .

Received the card today. It came to my attorneys office not to my address. weird.

My card was approved November 8th and sent for production same day. Since then nothing.

Initial filling was August 8th. Well over 110 days and still haven't received the card. Anybody in the same boat or any suggestions?

We filed August 8th and still no EAD. It changed to production ordered November 8th. So 55 days is nothing...

yes it was original date. my bio letter was super delayed i got it after 3 month. we filed august 8 and i did walk in biometrics november 8th. one hour after it was ordered for production. still doesn't show mailing yet.

We have exact same priority date. Well I hope I get some update soon too. Did you get RFE? I did and I am afraid that will delay my case.

I am adjusting from ESTA as well. You should be fine but prepare for a long hassle with immigration.Make sure your divorce is finalized and legit and accepted under your state's family law where you are adjusting status from. Also just make some research how to adjust from ESTA and what to look out for. Try to send everything in before your 90 days expire. If you cant or run out of time you can still adjust though but it will be more discretionary.

Thank for the reply. Actually its not true. Many people receive EAD cards before biometrics appointments . On the card fingerprint is not available and signature waived. So it does happened to some people . My case status says response to RFE was received. I don't think case status will say bio letter sent out, but will see.

Hi guys. My question is will a request for initial evidence on i485 (regarding i864 current income) reset the 90 days?

of corse we sent in both. the only thing we didn't send in was current paystubs for my wife. but its nor required .

we sent in all tax documents for my wife and for joint sponsor as well. the RFE was for current income.

I hope you are right. However I think you are wrong and it does reset the timeline on EAD.

Are you sure , even if its for initial evidence?What I read on CIS website is that it starts over again to day1. However experience for people is that it doesn't.

We did send in all the paperwork for my wife for the most recent tax year, 2015 however she didn't reach the 20k last year so we submitted joined sponsor. This year her income is around 40k i think thats what confused immigration.

I am more afraid that my EAD 90 days restarted after they received the response. It was for request for initial evidence, proof of petitioners current income. It did not make to much sense because we knew my wife will be hard to qualify so we submitted a joined sponsor. The problem was that this year my wife income will be around 40k compared to last year so they decided to try to qualify her and requested proof for current income like employment letter and paychecks.

I just really hope in a miracle that the EAD will be approved without the bio and ill just get biometrics after i get the EAD card.

Its much more complicated then that. Anyway I think my EAD might come without biometrics . I read it happened to many people.

Ill ask my lawyer to inquire with CIS on monday. Its getting ridiculous. And of corse no EAD so I cant work either
