So in our initial petition we sent pics, call lots, chats. At the Nvc stage we sent in a copy of my no visa required stamps. At the interview we only brought pics. I will say this before the interview I had been living in Dhaka for 4 months. Do I do believe that amount of consecutive time together helped.

We got the yes on July 26th at interview and on July 29th veac said issued and Aug 6th got the email to pick up passport with visa in it.

My case was closed May 3rd and my husband had his interview July 26th. So almost 3 months

Now just waiting in the queue for a interview date. I have to call two times to believe my case closed that quick.

There is no reason to apply for k2 as my son lives in the US and is a US citizen that is redundant. Know as for acting as married there are plenty of people in the world that have kids and are not married. To compare a religious ceremony to a child make no sense to different lanes. That is just my opinion.

About our son? What do you mean by that. K1 is fiancee visa. Did you apply for k1 or k2? Looks like A.P is a lottery. Everybody can get stuck with it. I wonder what other vj members think about it. They are very quite recently.

By our son I mean me and my fiancé has a kid together. We only apply for k1 not a k2 as my son is a us citizen. They asked about my son's medical condition as he has epilepsy and medication is not working too well as he still has multiple seizures.

You got the first time AP. Did they ask you any question? Is there any age differences? Previous marriges etc.

There is 7 month age difference. No previous marriages. She ask a few questions like who us my petitioner, how we meet, where We met, ask about our son, why so long between a set of visits, wedding plans, and that's it.

Had visa interview today. I got put in AP they didn't ask for anything else. My fiancée says it's good sign that they keep my passport. But I am still nervous I have read about Dhaka infamously super long AP cases.

So my fiance received packet 3 from Embassy in Dhaka today. As he read the cover letter it states that he is applying for immigrant visa and need to fill out DS 260 and DS 261. I keep telling him as we apply for K visa those forms are not applicable. Why would the cover page say that as the checklist behind it says to complete DS 160? They just causing unnecessary confusion.

Who is the USC? You state your son was born here in Memphis and your fiance was here for the birth. Are you the USC or were you visiting the US and had the child there? If so then no DNA test is required. Please clarify since your statements are confusing. Please don't be insulted. There rules and tests in place for good reasons. I am the us citizen as we as our son. My fiance came for the birth.

I understand that each situation is different. My son's father is on birth certificate and is his only child. Our son was born here in Memphis and my fiancé was here for the birth. It just seems to be a bit overkill and slightly offensive to me.

So I applied for a k-1 visa for my fiance and we have a child together who is us citizen. I read in a place that they can ask us to take paternity test? Why would that be necessary since he is all on legal paperwork for our child. Any insight will be great.
