Hello,
My wife (married less than a month ago) and i just got to the USA about a month ago.
we were married in the USA, but had a baby in the Phil. Our baby has her CRBA and USA passport.
My wife is here on a K-1 fiance.
I have learned that she married me and is planning secretly with her family in the Phil to go back to the Phil after our 30 day marriage is sealed (when its final).
she is planning on taking our baby back with her.
i signed the birth certificate in the Phil, but have not done anything here yet to claim paternity in the USA.
Can i stop her from taking my baby?
Pleasse HELP!!!!!!!!

I ask that during my cfo seminar if I can get the sticker at NAIA ... The cfo PERSONEL told me I need to go back to their office to get the Sticker. I told him but according to cfo website we can do that by appointment and he replied for emergency cases only. Lol ... To avoid delay on my flight soon I better visit their office for sticker ???
Hi Princess Ann,
can you please provide a link to the exact page where it says that?
thanks!

Will do! thanks!

"No status" means the passport has left the embassy and it is now with 2GO, once 2GO gets the package entered into their system it will show up on tracking.
Now to see if it shows up on tracking before it arrives in your hands.....
Mine has said "no status available" and "invalid" since before it was issued to now, two days after issued.
does that mean it has left the building, or that there is something wrong?
-
when i check to see where my passport is on cgifederal website, the bottom right box of the dashboard, that indicates where the passport is, is empty.
is that normal?
we are picking up from MOA
also, no info for tracking on 2go site or ustraveldocs. says invalid.

You can get your CFO sticker at Manila NIAI Term 1. The request that you call ahead 2-3 days,
CFO NAIA: 632-879-5685 or 02-879-5685
They are open from 5am till 12 midnight
CFO NAIA desk is at terminal one.. beside TIEZA travel tax desk.. between the entrance doors with the x-ray / conveyor machines..
That's awesome Greenbaum, thanks!
so you think that even tho i took seminar in Quirino Avenue i can still get the sticker at the airport?
-
Hello everyone!
i attended the seminar already, just need the sticker.
I should be picking up my visa soon, assuming i pick it up friday after business hours, is there one in NAIA that is open on weekends that can put the sticker in my passport, even if its different location cfo than the one i took my seminar at?
thanks and God bless!

No status usually means - "Elvis has left the building"
2GO has your package just need to wait for it to be entered into their system.
That is great news Hank!
-
that happened last 2014. they never get married.
why?
-
how many days the case is open will be expected? thank you. do you have your visa on hand?
Two business days for us. that seems to be the norm. but other peoople will try to scare you by telling you it takes up to two weeks.
do some reading here. you will get a better iedea
why some others having an AP for long time even though they're are being approved?
2 typs of AP, one for missing doc (221G),- could take months- the other for no missing doc (this one takes just a day)_. if you are not misisng a doc, then you are good!- one day!

Update:
After mailing off all the requested copies to the Embassy, they called us a couple days later to inform us that no appt was available until mid october, and that we should attend the US Embassy Outreach program at the Lewis Grand Hotel in Angeles City. I went in at 5am to sign in, for CRBA I was the first on the list. The staff at the hotel informed me to return at 8 (be there much earlier!).
They were scheduled to start at 8am. When I arrived again at 7:30 I was informed they had already called our name several times and I argued that this was all supposed to happen at 8 and I'm even 30 minutes early. They accepted us after they finished the person they were already helping.
Once one embassy employee looked through our paperwork to verify, i was instructed to pay (bring exact change to the outreach.) after paying we were shuttled off for the interview where wife and I, along with baby were seen personally and asked a few typical questions (who/what/when/where/why/how's of our relationship). My wife and I both swore an oath and were told every thing was in line and to take the documents over to the air21 table to fill out mailing forms and pay the shipping fee.
We were out of there in about an hour.
To anyone considering going to the Embassy Outreach in Angeles, here are some tips I want to empasize:
-Be there to sign up early, the embassy (when they called me) recommended I be there at 6-6:30. I was there at 5, and wasnt the only one.
-If you dont have to leave, dont.. they didnt seem to stick to there start time, probably in an attempt to help more people
-If you are driving, Lewis Grand Hotel has almost zero parking, be prepared to park down the street and walk back up.
-Bring exact change. The Outreach doesnt take credit cards. They do take US Dollars and Peso. They do not offer change and they cant "keep the change" so it HAS to be exact.
-Be prepared for a ton of people, we only had standing room and its incredibly loud and hard to hear the names being called over the loud speaker or the embassy staff sitting in front of you.
-They post outreach dates here: https://ph.usembassy.gov/category/messages-for-us-citizens/
-For Embassy Outreach, and filing CRBA/US passport for a child, you do not need to mail in the documents first, you can just go to the outreach.
Congratulations!!
when my daughter got her CRBA i was actuallyy crying on my way out the door!!
so happy for you!

Hi guys, my interview was on October 3, 2016 not October 1. I checked the stat in CEAC and it is still ready for interview. Only the dates were being updated. First date is October 3, the interview day, and today October 5, but still ready for interview. Why its like that?
That is your "first" "Ready" status.
you will see another ready that says CASE OPEN, check back in two days!
it is quick after that. those are the magic words, after that its just waiting for your ISSUED!!

Thanks Mark!
proof of usa residency is very very important too the CO this is the biggest issues they want to be assured of.
take as much documentation of residency and physical presence as you can.
you should have more, the CO is going to be questioning your status with limited items.
expand on this

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has experience for applying for CRBA form DS-2029. We are trying to fill it out and are stuck on question 25 where is asks for precise periods of time in United States. For each parent, the U.S. citizen and the non U.S. citizen, do you have to include just all dates you have lived in the U.S. or visits for vacation or day visits as well? For example, for the non U.S. citizen, do we have to list every time they have visited the U.S. (this is going back many years and at this point it would be impossible to remember all dates of entry) We aren't sure how to proceed.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Yes, you dont want to lie or be inconsistent. there are other forms as well such as the DS 5507 that ask for same thing. i forget since my daughter got her CRBA 4 months ago, but one asks your time abroad, and one asks your time in USA. same for your significant other. look at your passports, etc. match the dates, take time here. its important to be honest.
if you cant remember all the dates, thats ok, they dont do a history check, just give a rough estimate of when you think, but be consistent and discuss with your SO the dates so youre both on same page.
The interviewer (CO) wants to make sure you're a usa citizen and that your child is the child of you and your SO. that was our experience with the us embassy.
Good luck.

Seriously?! I'm SO excited! We've been waiting forever it seems, thanks for the help!
Any updates yet?

After ISSUED it will still be a few days before 2GO has the visa package, as the embassy still have to print the visa in the passport and package everything for delivery.
thanks a lot

My status has changed back to AP, I hear issued is next.
