That's great ! Good to know it was pretty quick. We're sending the additional documents today. We're sending the following:
- Statement from my wife (the USC) that she intends to return to the US
- Lease agreement (4 months lease)
- renter's insurance
- contract with electricity company
- Resumes that the USC sent out
- End of our lease in Canada
- USC job contract that end the same month as the lease
- U-haul truck rental confirmation
Hopefully that will be enough...
That's seems good. For me I had my wife's DL, bank acc., medicare, letter from wife. But he wanted to see the job offer letter.

Yes, since everything was ready over the phone regarding my wife's job. The manager wrote the job offer letter right away and I sent it by email to Montreal on the day of the interview. I just hope that it's in the acceptable format since it's on the company's letterheard.
Finally, Ceac status changed to issued today with visa in final processing message. It took about 2 weeks for them to review the additional document. Waiting for the waybill number now. Montreal seems to be doing well on their review cases.

IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATIONIssuedImmigrant Visa Case Number: Case Created: 25-Oct-2016 Case Last Updated: 26-Jun-2017 Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointmentHi everyone I was in admin processing for last 2 weeks after they have requested additional document and i had submitted it on june13. Just now i saw this on caec website. How legit is this? is the visas really issued or still in admin processing? -

Hi Everyone,
I applied for IR1 my Spouse is a US citizen but currently in canada living with me. I had an interview on june13. rejected due to domicile, i am on admin processing now. CO specifically said, there are many things we can provide to satisfy the domicile requirement, but for me, he just needed the job offer letter for my wife. Although i had my wife's medicare,DL, my daughter's cal state medi card, BoA statement. CO said those info's are okay but not concrete. He said to submit the job offer letter. He kept my passport and said it will take about 2-3 weeks for the passport with visa. The document for job offer letter was submitted on the date of the interview(june13) via email. and i got a acknowledgement of the email right away in 5 mins. Any suggestions guys? im getting reallllllllly worried based on reading the stories.
PS. They are very strict on proving the domicile.

I just had an interview for IR1 on June 13 2017. They gave me 221g and to submit the job offer letter for my wife to prove the domicile. Which we already did on the day of the interview via email. CO kept my passport and now I am put on AP. He said I will get the passport back whithin 2-3 weeks. Any suggestions guys?

Any idea what the current processing time for NVC is?
I Had my case completed in 9 weeks and 3 days. So i think NVC still mentions 11 weeks for case to be completed, but they are getting done around 9 weeks.

Was anyone's interview date scheduled on May 17th and cancelled?
We were unfortunate enough find out this week that our interview was cancelled and in line to be rescheduled due to some system error!
The NVC said that there was no issues with our case, it is still case complete, but there was a booking error and had to be cancelled.
Our flights/hotels were booked for June 6th and medical examination done too! ughh... so disappointing.
Does anyone know what can be done in this situation?
Hi there,
just to give you an update. I had cc on April 20. NVC scheduled my interview on may 5th but got cancelled on may 11th due to system error. Nothing wrong with the case. They scheduled it again on May15 and the interview date was the same date as before, there was no changes. So my suggestion would be to wait before any cancellation. You may get the same interview date.
-
Hey guys, just an update that the interview is rescheduled again on the May 15, after cancelling it on may 11th due to an error on NVC part. They rescheduled it to June 13 at 9am. Same time and date as earlier!!! I wonder what was the reason for cancellation initially!! My case shows "in transit" to embassy!! Montreal,Canada.

Just wanted to update you guys on my case. The interview was schedule on June 13 at Montreal, Canada on may 5. So I called today since I didn't receive any letter, they said they have unscheduled the interview due to an error. So now I am waiting again for an interview date. cc-april20. I wonder if it's happening at all other embassies too.
