  1. Have received the first notification NAO1. planning to visit my Fiancé the petitioner in two weeks for 4 days still deciding whether to fly there or take a bus so cross land border. What to bring to show proof of ties? I think airport is easier than land border cross from my experience but sometimes cost wise land border is the cheaper option. A Letter from work saying when I’ll be returning to work, at present I don't have a lease but can have the person I pay rent to write a letter and sign it. What else should I take just in case? Any other advice? My last visit was last week for 5 days. So I make frequent short visits never had an issue but wondering how it will be now after this is in progress now.

    Thanks

  2. Filling out the g325a form. My Fiancé the USC the petitoner he has never lived outside the United States on the question for living outside the United states for 1 year or more. Is it best to leave the question blank or put n/a/

Also for myself the beneficiary and the same question do I just leave the box blank or put n/a about the address for 1 year outside the US.

On the I129f for question 15 I was with him in the US at the time he filled out the form for I129f for a quick visit so he filled out SECTION 15 my travel documents and passport number. For travel document and passport do you duplicate the number?

Sorry just trying to make sure all forms are correct so no RFE’S later.

    Thanks

  3. Hi

I don't know if anyone else has been in this situation. But I moved to Canada currently living in Canada legally but I am an Australian citizen and met my fiancée a year ago whilst traveling in the US and he lives in the US and that is where we plan to eventually live together. We have just started the k1 process.

For the interview as I am Australian but living in Canada an engaged to an American citizen. For the interview would it be in Montreal, Canada or Sydney, Australia? I really hope Montreal as much closer to Toronto. Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

  4. Hi

for the i129f packet form my Fiancé the petitioner only has call records back from last 2 months as he got a new phone. I am the beneficiary can we use screenshot logs from my call log? To show proof of ongoing relationship and calls.

Cause we live US/Canada North America we both have unlimited calling. So we mainly call and text each other. we do have WhatsApp dating back though. But for screenshots only I have the records for skype and call logs. Can we use mine or it has to be from his as he is the petitioner? Any advice and also how should it be arranged as pics of screenshots in word doc or to print out each one separately?

Sorry we are new to this. Thanks for your help.

  5. Hi we are just beginning our visa journey am the beneficiary in Canada and my Fiancé the petitioner is in the US. have visited many times but always taken flights from

buffalo or Detroit so crossing land borders they never have stamped my passport on entry to the US. I know they have records. I have stamps back into Canada. I have boarding passes and flight internaries from trips. He has a stamp in his passport from a trip to Canada. What should we do as we have no stamps to prove in my passport so he canfilewithI129packet.we have all the other pieces of evidence photos, hotel receipts, boarding passes. Tips and advice much appreciated what to do if anyone else has been in this situation. I tried to contact for entry/exit records but that may take time I’ve been told

    Thanks
