@JBMG Hey! 😊 I called NVC just now and I found out our interview has been scheduled!!! I am in tears of joy!!! I burst into tears when the representative told me to go grab a pen and paper to write it down. 🙏 Interview appointment date is July 31 in Mumbai Consulate!!! I have updated my questionnaire (this time I'd saved the email to edit my response). I left the "interview notification date" column blank because I didn't get any written notification yet, only by phone as of now. Thank you so much and I pray everyone gets their interview dates as well. ❤️

March 28? Oh, I'm so sorry! That's more than 2 months of waiting for an interview date! ☹️ You don't have a timeline, what's your country/consulate? What's taking them so long? 🙁 Have you called NVC, what did they say?

That means your case complete was March 1st. have you called NVC to see if you got interview date.? Mumbai has been scheduling all week and those with CC's at your embassy same as you and around your CC got dates.

Hey, I filled out the questionnaire, but I don't see me in the spreadsheet. My case complete was June 2, waiting for interview date at Mumbai, India.

We are in the same situation. Our case was completed on June 2, and we still haven't received an interview date (called NVC and they said "pending to be scheduled"), and we also received this same email. I don't understand what's going on?

I called NVC today at 7 am. The lady was very rude and laughed at me for asking if my case is in the review department. She asked me why I thought ("why would you even consider") it'd be in the review department with my scan date being March 29. I had called on March and three times in April just to reassure myself that they had received my packet (supporting and financial documents) and there is nothing else I could do. I cried for an hour after talking to her. I was very nice on the phone, wished her a good morning and asked how her day was going and everything and she treat me like I'm so stupid for calling to find out about my case. 😞

8 weeks this Wednesday. Scan date: March 29. 

I know, 11 weeks... But I felt so embarrased like I did something horribly wrong for calling. 😞

I know right! Here we are counting down the 11 weeks and I cannot bear to think about checklists, if the waiting period resets back to another 11 weeks that is pure heartbreaking and torture... Oh God, I pray no one gets checklists!!!

Another thing: make sure to get two original copies (you should be able to get two original copies for Rs. 500.), and your passport will be stamped along with that PCC as well. Also, your name does not have to be in your husband's passport. (My name is not in my husband's passport and he didn't have to get his passport renewed/updated with my information; he was able to get his PCC without it. He only needed to show NOA2 approval letter from USCIS with my name as petitoner/sponser on it.)

You need to get the PCC from Passport Seva Kendra. It must be from a Regional Passport Office and NOT from local police stations. You will get a letter with a letterhead that says "Government of India - Ministry of External Affairs - Regional Passort Office." Schedule an appointment here: http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/rpo

No, as long as you have your marriage certificate (and NOA2 approval letter from USCIS- with his and your name) you don't need to update your passport with your spouse's name. My husband was able to get his PCC on same day (within less than a hour). Good luck!!! 😊😊😊

Interview was scheduled late evening on 05/10, but we were informed on 05/11 when we called. Still waiting for email confirmation of interview schedule.
