  1. I once saw a very cute animated tree hugger icon (think it was black and white), which a member here uses as an avatar. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore, does anyone have an idea what icon it was and where I can download it?

  2. People, you won't believe it :o

I am hereby giving up the coveted top spot on the "CSC waiting" list....... :D

Got not just one approval e-mail today, but seven

(All with the same text, of course...."On Nov. 30, we have ordered production of your new card bla bla....")

After more than six months of sitting under the coffee machine at CSC, my file must have been rediscovered by someone :innocent:

    I AM APPROVED !!!!!

Good luck to all the others who are still waiting, especially to the former # 2 spot who is now promoted to "longest waiting" on the list (F)

Just wanted to share my good news with you :D

    Take care,

    CW

Congrats, congrats, congrats again :star: .... I'm soooooo happy for you, Charlotte!!!!!

  3. I gave them my husbands very last LES and they asked for the employment letter as well as the bank letter so I don't think there is any way to get around this for him. They didn't care for the Tax returns and W2's but all the other stuff had to be shown. good luck.

 Same here.... employment letter is a must, even though the LES already indicate the full time job. USCIS likes to keep us busy

  4. So the NSC has received my I-129F application approx 10 days ago and they haven't cashed my check...I have yet to recieve a receipt, I know that the average time from submission to the NOA1 is approx 2-3 weeks but ####### is going on? Did anyone get anything from NSC that filed around the same time I did.

    Thanks... :(

Lol... if you already start to get impatient at your first step... then you'll need lots of calming pills for the rest of your visajourney. It took 15 days for us to receive the NOA1 btw.

  5. On November 9, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

    Background:

I got an RFE 10/10/06 for my spouse's tax *returns* which I sent in initially (it was included in the w2/1040 copies I sent in) I sent thm back two days later via ups. Unfortunately, the address was a p.o.box and even though ups delivered to an alternate uscis address, it never yielded anything - no touches or receipts. So after several attempts at contacting uscis, I got to speak to a lady and explained the whole issue. She was really nice and suggested that the info I sent was probably tossed and that I should send it in again (or try to get an infopass which would have been ages to get) I sent the copies in again last friday and I got the following message today.

Any ideas what that mean?? (I'm bugging big time!! )

It means that they received your RFE documents and will continue now to work on your case.

  6. I have tried both here and at the USCIS website, for some reason I cannot obtain a current I-485 Adjustment of Status form.

Once again, even though we are legally married, we must go through the long, tedious process of mountains of paperwork so that my beautiful spouse and our lovely daughter can stay in the United States.

Anyone have a current/legal copy of the I-485 form so that we can continue to celebrate life together?

    Thanks,

    Keith & Xiang

  8. When downloading the forms needed I just went for the I-134 Affidavit of Support that I had originally filed with the K-1. Any chance I can use that instead of the I-864? Only asking b/c I just had it notorized.

Like Yuanddan said, you definetely need the I-864!

Also my husband went for the full medical as there were no records to be had from Cuba. He brought the

I-693 to the Civil Surgeon (what a scam that is) they did the exam & vaccinations. He came back for the TB and HIV stats. The nurse handed him a sealed envelope with what I'm assuming is the filled out I-693 and his results. They told him not to open it, and just send it in with his AOS. Seems kinda weird to me.

The nurse also handed me the sealed envelope, so you 'll be fine. (I should have asked for a copy though... just in case it would have gone lost.)

We filed for the EAD but it was too late, his visa had just expired. But they sent him a letter telling him to come for his biometrics. He went on his own, got photographed and fingerprinted but they didn't give him any proof, no letter nothing saying it had been done. I figure that's the $70 biometrics fee I'm paying with the AOS fee, right?
It is required to bring the original appointment notice (ASC) the day, the biometrics are taken. They've put a red stamp on it with handwritten dates, when the fingerprints and the photograph have been taken..... your husband didn't get it? I'm pretty sure he got it as well.
  9. hello everybody,

im very happy to get my green card in the mail today,it has been here last since saturday(we didnt get our mails since last saturday, just this morning  ).and we are very happy to get my green card without having to go for an interview  .

im just wondering what is this CF1 category means? i knew that this will expire 2 yrs and we have to apply to lift conditions before it expires.maybe that what it means :D .just thinking i'd rather asked than confused.

    Congratulations on your GC!! :star:

  10. Hi! Great news, I got an email this morning from CRIS stating my AOS had been transferred to Cali SC!!! I'm thrilled with the possibility of having a speedy approval and no need to go to San Antonio for an interview.

My biometrics is next week though for both AOS and EAD. Has anyone else been transferred before having their biometrics done? I wasn't expecting anything until that was completed!

    Any similar timelines out there?

    Thanks so much :D

Can someone add me to the CSC transfer list?

Congrats :star: ... and I also got transferred before the biometrics.
