We had our "2nd" interview almost a year apart and we are still waiting. The first interview was Nov. 24, 2018 and was told we would here in 4-8 weeks. Then we were notified we needed to come in for a 2nd interview Oct. 16, 2019. Told same thing. That was 7 weeks ago. Still nothing. The only thing that has changed on the website is that our account is being reviewed. Anyone have had to wait that long?

James 777 I have no idea why they are not doing InfoPass. I guess more are going that way. No change since Sept. on status.

Yahooo.. How did you find out? Congrats!!! I think you had your interview around the time we had ours!!!

What is the old site and what is the new?

Interview Nov. of 2018. Still nothing. The local USCIS center is not allowing walk ins or infopass. Anyone else we can contact?

So frustrating. Have you done and inquiry?

How long after your first interview did you get a notice for your second interview?

My husband is in the same boat. His permit expired in October. He applied in July for a renewal and nothing. He is worried and we have done an inquiry but it has not been assigned to an agent yet. His permit extension expires this week. If he has the letter stating he has reapplied is that good enough for his employer to allow him to keep working?

My fiance was interviewed on Feb. 8, 2017. The interviewer questioned him for almost 4 hours but not about our relationship but about being in the US in 2005. Then they said I needed to be interviewed too. On Feb. 17 I was also interviewed. It was really weird. They didn't tell us we were approved or denied. They just said we would get an email in two weeks. We have not heard anything. As of March 8 the CEAC says Administrative Processing. What does this mean? Approved? Denied? Should we get an attorney? Anyone have anything like this?

on the application it says have you ever refused a visa. After this incident during the 10 year period she tried to get another visa but was denied. Not that it has been over 10 years will she be denied again?

I have a friend thinking about getting a k-1 visa to marry here in the states. She lived here several years ago (12) and overstayed her visa. I know if you overstay you can be banned for 3 years or 10 years. Her question is will she be denied a k-1 Visa if it has been longer than 10 years since it occured? Should she mention it on her application or wait?

Yea but that was August 24 and now it is October 6. Whats the holdup now? Can he apply for a Diversity Visa at the same time in case this is denied or held up another 6 months?

Can a person apply for a Diversity Visa while waiting for approval on a k1 Visa? My petition has been in RFE status for 7 months. My fiance lives in Ecuador and wants to apply for Diversity Visa since this is taking so long. Can he?

I called and talked to a tier 2 supervisor and he said about 5 weeks ago that everything looked fine but they were backlogged and understaffed. He said just wait. I am ready to call again. Wasn't denied.

Going on 7 months waiting for reply from RFE.

Why would I consider myself denied? I did contact them, spoke to a tier 2 supervisor. Said not to worry that everything looked good but they are backlogged. Have gotten up to 22K petitions per month and they are now working Saturdays to catch up.

I am still patiently waiting for my RFE to be approved. It has been almost 7 months. March 8, 2016 is the last time any work was done.

Help, I sent my application for K-1 off on December 28, 2015. Arrived January 2016. Feb. 2016 sent RFE. Returned RFE and it posted March 8. Nothing has changed on the website since then. I sent in an inquiry about what is taking so long. Responded with it is on hold pending background checks. Has anyone had this happen before and how long did it take? Also, I received a NOA 1 again, receipt of payment dated December 28, 2015 an then current date 8-29-16. Is this normal? Is any of this normal?
