I arrived in USA in July this year on a K1 visa. My husband and I were engaged before I moved here and I went through the visa process in the UK.
We got married a few weeks after I arrived in the US and I filed for my GC in late august. In the middle of september I did my biometrics.
We recently found out that my husband is going to deploy next year and I phoned the USCIS military helpline to get advice about this. They were very friendly and he said that as my husband probably will be away for my gc interview we can apply to expedite my case so hopefully my interview can take place before he leaves. I haven't received anything from them that they need any documents from me etc but today I received an email saying that it has been denied. It also says that they can reconsider this decision but I then have to send them deployment orders with MY name on it. And that is very much impossible as I am not even in the military.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or could anyone advice me?
